Alpharetta is a city of about 66,000 people in north Fulton County, about 25 miles north of downtown Atlanta. Once a small farming town and county seat, it grew into a major technology and business center along Georgia 400, and it has become one of the region's most popular places to eat, shop and gather.
The historic downtown centers on the brick City Hall and town green, where Alpharetta hosts concerts, a farmers market and seasonal events, and the surrounding streets are filled with restaurants and patios.
