While we did go through two rooms with wet carpet odors before we finally got a room that didn't smell, the room we have is good (and no carpet). We have stayed at this hotel for several years. We might change after this year.
Came in vacation, Great location but the hotel was a little nasty. The pool was dirty and closed, They had chicken bones in the lobby for two days and the floor we was on (4) smelled like pee. The room was okay but the bathroom had pee around the bottom on it. And very little tissue. A man of The cleaning crew continually attempted to come in the room my family and I was in had to go to the front desk to let them know and the crazy part is he did it every morning with the do not disturb hanger on the door. My family and I will not stay again
The room was clean and very nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. We didn't like the guests smoking weed. My husband an I said, because of the type of guest that stay there security would be appropriate. The people keep the luggage carts in there rooms all night. But the staff and desk clerks are nice.
⭐ 1/5 – Very DisappointingUnfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. We stayed one night while traveling with my family, and the room was completely unacceptable. There was visible mold on the ceiling and descasting walls. The uncomfortable beds were the least of our concerns. Cleanliness and basic sanitary conditions should be expected from any hotel. I’m attaching photos so others can see the condition of the room.
I booked last minute for a quick overnight for next day appointments and wasn’t looking for anything fancy - just a clean room and adequate breakfast. This was nowhere close to meeting that bar.I have stayed at La Quinta in many different states - always pleasant for a mid range hotel - and this was far and away the worst of the worst.I had multiple issues with not just the room I reserved (which wasn’t available when I arrived) but also the back up room they put me in and the property in general.I did not stay overnight and left to go find another hotel. Here were the problems I had:—I reserved a room, checked in and paid in advance online. Upon arrival there was a long wait and then I found out they were sold out (as in, no rooms at all). The desk attendant got on the phone and talked to someone and they managed to “find” a room. They put me in another room of a different room type.-Upon arriving in the room — the bathroom light was on with a dirty rag on the sink. There was a dead wasp on the windowsill. There was no hand / bar soap anywhere in room. The hair dryer was on the floor. There was orange bar soap residue all over soap dish and gray dirt spots in bathtub. The bathtub was dripping. The TV didn’t work. There were crumbs on counter under the TV and the adjoining room door was not locked.- In hallway it smelled of weed and there were piles of full large trash bags and food delivery bags spilling out onto carpet next to the elevator.-The door to the parking lot said it was locked 24/7 and you had to use your keycard to enter, but it was definitely unlocked.-The waffle irons in the breakfast area had dried waffle batter dripping from them (at 7 PM)Given there were multiple major issues I chose to go elsewhere. Fortunately the attendant working was apologetic and refunded my room even with a late cancellation.
I stayed here for 4 days and the location was very convenient, which I really appreciated. However, there were a few issues during my stay. When I first checked in, the room I was assigned had not been cleaned and still had mess from the previous guest. I let the front desk know and was given another room, which I appreciated. There was also a bit of confusion about our reservation, as they thought we had a king room when we actually booked a two queen room. In the second room, the window didn’t close completely, and there was a wasp nest on the window blinds inside the room, which was concerning especially since we were traveling with a child. Overall, the location was great, but there are definitely some improvements needed when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance.
Beds and sheets were stained with urine, blood and who knows what else. Staff report this is an ongoing concern and management will not do anything about it. I wish I would have read the reviews before booking.Staff was accommodating with changing room, however the next room smelled of urine and needed a good cleaning. Pretty disheartening the staff or management or both think it is ok for someone to sleep in this environment. The hotel appears to be clean from the lobby but stayers beware and book somewhere else.
This was my first time in Atlanta, or in Georgia generally beyond driving through the state. The hotel is in a great location like 5 min off the interstate and surrounded by local businesses or corporate parks (ie safe and quiet). The hotel itself has a great lobby and all the staff is kind as can be. The rooms are good. You can ask for amenities upfront but they generally have it all in the rooms. Comfortable beds too. I don’t think my iron worked but that’s a unit-to-unit thing and I didn’t bother telling the staff.I didn’t use the pool but it looked great. The gym was large and had a great water cooler. The breakfast area is large and there’s free continental in the mornings
I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered through booking.com. Before I booked, I called the front desk to confirm their pet policy and that they take cats. They hotel staff confirm via phone they accept cats, and it would be $25 fee per cat per stay. Perfect. I also confirmed online on their official website that it said dogs and cats. So I booked. After booking they sent me an email saying they cannot accommodate cats. I called to speak to to hotel staff about this discrepancy. The first guy said he had only been working there 2 days and would get his manager to call. After about 15 minutes when no one called, I called and spoke to who I assume is the manager. And he told me essentially too bad. He wasn't going to refund me my money after I explained both ways that I confirmed they take cats. So I had to spend an hour or more on the phone with booking.com who actually helped me. HORRIBLE BUSI ESS PRACTICES. I don't know how they have any guests at all. Disgusting behavior.
Great and affordable hotel. It’s in a great location! Clean, efficient, and super friendly staff. Ms. D at the front desk was so friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to create an “at home” feel. Would stay here again!
