Absolutely LOVE this place, the staff is super friendly and always helpful. Chloe usually takes care of us and she does a fantastic job explaining the menu options and ensuring that our experience is blissful. Also, it doesn’t hurt that EVERYTHING on their menu tastes great… it’s all natural and you can truly taste the care that they put into putting the best food on your plate! Super affordable as well. Checks all the boxes, love Local!

Husband-and-wife team Danny and Diana Kim are the visionaries behind Local Expedition, which features fast-casual, global cuisine featuring locally-grown ingredients and hormone-free meats.Local Expedition is located on the lower level of the Arabelle Perimeter Apartments at the corner of Hammond Drive and Peachtree Dunwoody Road. The eatery is MARTA accessible via the 5 bus or a half-mile walk from the Dunwoody Station.The first Local Expedition is located in Alpharetta on Windward Parkway. I was starving one Saturday and was looking for somewhere to eat in the Perimeter area that wasn’t within the Perimeter Mall area. Local Expedition was the nearest location on Yelp that looked promising.Local Expedition’s menu features a build-your-own meal, where diners select their protein (chicken breast, smoked pulled pork, grilled & smoked chicken wings, vegan falafel, portobello mushrooms), rice or garden salad, one or two sides, pita & sauces (Cilantro, Spicy BBQ, Sweet BBQ, and Lemon Garlic). There are also specialty sides and salads to add.I ordered the Smoked Pulled Pork, Caesar salad (in place of rice), and Veggie Curry. On a subsequent visit, I had the Chicken Wings with L.A. Street Corn, Mini Potstickers, with a fountain drink (who could pass up such a cool Stubborn Soda station).I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and flavor of the pulled pork and curry. The smoked chicken wings were pretty solid and were finished by my husband as soon as I got home. The corn is also worth the $1.00 upcharge for specialty sides. I personally like the Spicy BBQ and Lemon Garlic sauces with my meals.I appreciated having a fast-casual eatery with a variety of healthy, delicious options. This is definitely a restaurant I will frequent whenever I am in the Perimeter area.

I know you're supposed to take a picture before you eat but I was hungry and this place did not disappoint. I had the pulled pork brussel sprouts and salad. Everything had great flavor. The cilantro sauce was good and the spicy bbq sauce was really good although not very spicy. I demolished my plate. All except for the rice. I don't really eat rice but there was nothing wrong with it. The tropical sweet green tea is also really good.

The service here is EXCELLENT The owner and all of his staff were very attentive & friendly. The food was GREAT! The Street Corn is my fave! The Chicken Wrap was also really good, the chicken breast that they make is seasoned so well. The Dumplings, Smoked & Grilled Wings and the Grilled Pineapple Dessert are must try’s! They have a great outdoor patio and the craft tap sodas were so good. I love Local Expedition!

Oh my gosh, it's incredibly delicious! Pulled pork and corn is really recommended. Also all sauces are amazing and complements the meal really well. Chloe and Jay's service was outstanding! their recommendations were on point. And Jay is handsome. I want to come again!

I have been going to this restaurant for many and it's always the same Awesome Awesome Awesome. The food never fails to be good and seasoned very well. If you want affordable good fast food this is the place to go. I love their vegetable plate, it's a must try along with their grilled chicken.. tell them Trey sent you.. LoL

I enjoyed the pulled pork, rice and brussel sprouts and the LA Corn, my favorite part. The addition of Pita bread made the meal even better. I also like that we had our choice of multiple great sauces. The service was friendly and quick.

Food was pretty good. I had the 2 plate with pork, sweet and spicy potatoes, and broccoli. The pork and potatoes were great, the broccoli and rice were below average. In fairness I was there about 40 minutes before close, however they basically started the closing process right when I walked in…disruptive and didn’t feel like I could sit and enjoy my food.

Used Local Expedition for the first time for an office lunch. Ordered a couple community meals. Called my order in and placed with Chloe....she was so helpful and courteous! Delivery was on time and friendly. Food was delicious! We'll be ordering again...it was a real crowd pleaser from veggies to awesome cookies!

This was my first time dining here. I was greeted by Chloe behind the counter. She has impeccable customer service. I had the wings, fries, garden salad, pot stickers & pita bread. Everything was fresh & delicious. I will definitely visit again.
