The food tasted pretty fresh and had nice flavor. I went with the lamb gyro while my friend had the Big Mac Daddy burger. The chips are decent, flavored with some kind of ground pepper/paprika. The lamb was pretty tender and not too tough, and the pita was fresh. The server was very nice and accommodating, as all of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The ambience of the restaurant is unique but fits the theme of the restaurant. The tables are sort of clothes together so conversation can get a little difficult with more people inside. The hardest part was parking. We got there early at 5:30 but when we left there wasn't a spot left in the lot. It is a free lot between the AT&T store and the restaurant. Though the lot was almost full, parking may need to be sought out elsewhere especially if the restaurant is full.
I was in the area and wanted something to eat. I scanned through TikTok and found this restaurant. When I tell you, it was so delicious, the TikTok reviews didn’t disappoint me. The server Evelyn was amazing, very attentive… hopefully the owner acknowledges her great customer service. I’ll be back!
As a local real estate broker, I enjoy recommending great places for my clients to visit, and Kid Cashew is definitely worth checking out. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, with a great variety of options for everyone. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. Whether you are stopping in for lunch, dinner, or a casual night out, Kid Cashew is a great choice. I will definitely be back!
I came here for a birthday brunch. It was quite a large group of us. So look at my review, at least in part, through that lens. This place is reasonably priced, so I can't complain about that. This appears to be a decent casual dining spot, preteably for any group smaller than large. It's also listed as Mediterranean. I would bill it more as Mediterranean influenced rather than truly Mediterranean.Food - 4/5: Vegan and vegetarian options are available. Because I was starving by the time we could order, I got the Impossible burger gyro. It was decent, albeit a bit greasy. They forgot my chips. If I went back, if try the brussel sprouts, quinoa stuffed avocado and the potabello skewers. The first two items were raved over. Everyone otherwise seemed to enjoy what they got, though some dishes, including mine, the portions were quite small (and I'm of the opinion that portions in a lot of places are too large).Service - 3/5: that young lady had a large crowd to service. Having said that, she did okay. One lady never got her food until we were all done, despite repeatedly requesting a status and being told it was coming. It took forever for some of us to get our checks (took me a good 45 minutes) despite being told they were coming. Having said that, I think people coming for casual dining will be comfortable and get better service. Crowd sizes are going to impact that in all fairness. I'm surprised they did not charge gratuity. I did make sure I still tipped 20%.Atmosphere - 5/5: there is indoor and outer porch seating.
Don’t come in unless you’re masochistic or love throwing money away. Honestly disappointed with this place. I’ve been coming here since it opened and it looks like it’s just going downhill. We came in for their lunch special and then also ordered the spicy feta as an appetizer. I got the chicken avocado which was flavorless (it usually is a pretty good sandwhich) so bad day for that I guess. Then our food comes, I notify the manager that our appetizer is missing. She then tells the server and the server THEN puts it in the system. So she then tells us she just put it in and it’ll be out shortly. By the time the feta comes, we practically finished our food. So we then had to try and eat our appetizer as a dessert??? Then the bill came, and the feta was on there. I’m in service. I understand people make mistakes but I couldn’t even eat my spicy feta because it came when I had already finished my meal. So why would I pay for that? Sure I took it home but the pita won’t be good by the time I’m hungry again. I dont understand why I paid full price for the servers mistake and then I don’t even get to enjoy the appetizer I paid for? Not sure if maybe the manager doesn’t allow them to take items off or maybe if the server just wanted a better tip. We adjusted our tip as if the feta was gone…because it’s completely unprofessional to force us to pay for the servers mistake and food that I can’t even eat in a few hours. Not coming back any time soon and I’d advise you to not come in if you actually want to pay for your order and not pay for extra bs. Behind that, the server was kind. But definitely not the right thing to do. I would’ve happily tipped her over 20% if she had taken it off but now she’s getting tipped based off the total without the feta. Management should’ve done something since she knew it wasn’t put in. But instead she stood there talking to the employees and giggling it up.
This place needs help! Go elsewhere. Sloooow service-servers need trained-ours couldn't even get the beverages/meal order correct. Everyone's entree came to the table at different times-items were missing-1 meal order was completely forgotten, no vibe/atmosphere, food was average with lunch sized portions. Not sure how they stay in business. The Trio dip/pita and meatball appetizers were good-that's it.
Omg the food was soooo good 😭🔥 my baby girl got the big cheeseburger 🍔 (no pic, we ate too fast lol) but EVERYTHING was delicious. I had this alcoholic peach drink and it was sooo good too 🍑🥂 we are full, happy, and ready to knock out 😴💛
Thank you Evony for your wonderful service. The food was delicious, and they have vegan options. The atmosphere is inviting and chill. The decor is nostalgic with great artwork throughout the restaurant.
We were excited to go to this place. One of us had already been there before and enjoyed it well. However this time, there were a few things that can definitely be corrected and properly addressed. First, we ordered the grilled-charred beets appetizer. There were only 2 slices of beets that had some black on the corners. The rest was just a cold beets salad. Next, we ordered the lamb burger with a gluten-free bun. The burger was delicious, but the bun was the worst I've ever had. We also ordered a salad with grilled salmon. It was really great. Crispy from the outside and juicy from the inside. We also ordered a side of quinoa-stuffed avocado. It was ok. It needs flavor. The service however was not good at all. We had the impression that the lady who waited on us in the beginning just didn't want to be there. Forgetful. Not checking back. Not bringing utensils nor drinks on time. The rest of the staff who we reached out to, were very smiling and helpful. The ambiance was meh for a Sunday afternoon. Not sure what to expect but it was just meh. A nice little place that has potential but needs some top management oversight.
Cozy, very comfortable space.Service was good, and the team displayed great teamwork. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and seemed invested in ensuring we enjoyed our meals.Spread trio - all three great.Octopus small plate - fresh and tasty.Big Cheese - huge burger that was cooked perfectly.Trout & Salmon - each were tasty fresh and perfectly portioned.Three people bill just over $100. Will return.
