I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch with my family at Food Terminal on a Sunday afternoon, and it was a delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming, setting a positive tone for our meal.We started off with the veggie spring rolls, and they were fresh and tasty—an excellent way to kick off our lunch. For my main course, I ordered the curry chicken noodles, and it was absolutely delicious! My husband opted for his usual mango chicken, which he found to be perfectly sweet and spicy. He loved every bite!To complement our meal, I had a refreshing raspberry lemonade, while my husband enjoyed his iced tea. Both drinks were fantastic and added to the overall experience. The customer service at Food Terminal was top-notch, making our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to savor delicious Malaysian cuisine!
I love the variety of food here, especially the Malaysian specialties. The flavors are not as rich as they are in Malaysia for the curry, but the Nasi Lemak was great! The rice was very fragrant and the chicken crispy! The eggplant was okay. The Prosperity salad has a good balance of flavors and was refreshing to have on the side. The price is a bit high, but the place is nice.Service is okay and parking was free at the garage:)
Had a business meeting here. We only chose this place because it was close to a conference I was at, but it turned out to be an excellent choice. Food was so flavorful and came out in only a few minutes. The atmosphere was average for this type of place which is why I rated it a 3/5 for the atmosphere portion, not because it's bad. It's just average. Food and service were easily 5/5 stars.
I just don't like this location. I've been to food terminal locations in Doraville and Atlanta and the food is prepared so much better there than at the Sandy Springs location. I ordered thai chili pan mee and the fried egg was literally missing the yolk like it was cut out. Also, the way it was prepared was just not it.
Not sure if it's just the Monday crew or what but I think one branch of this chain got the Michelin recommendation and the rest threw caution to the wind after. Never seen such a skinny piece of pork belly as on the pork belly bao, which is a shame because the flavors weren't bad. The mangos in the mango chicken were sour and fibrous and unripe, which in May is crazy because they're in season in the US. Service was slow and almost rude, especially for being the only person there. Staff was gossiping loudly the whole time
I ordered one of the lychee cocktails, the first one on the cocktail menu…. Wonderful! I ordered a lychee martini… Fabulous! I had the spring rolls for an appetizer, the mango chicken for the entree, and the matcha sago for dessert… everything was absolute Amazing! My food and drinks came out perfectly.
Really cool restaurant with delicious food! The location by North Point is great, so I was happy to have a similar experience here. The menu is so extensive and helpful with lots of pictures for most of the dishes. The salt and pepper chicken nuggets were a nice appetizer, and my Szechuan bone marrow noodles were amazing. So flavorful with the perfect kick of spice. I definitely recommend this place for wonderful Malaysian cuisine!
I learnt about this restaurant from a colleague and decided to try it out with him and other work colleagues. We went there during lunch time and our orders got served pretty quick. The items were brought to our table by a Robot but there was a server who actually served the food on our table. I tried the 6 Hours Braised Beef Tossed Noodle and really liked it. The beef was very soft and not chewy at all and had a nice flavor. The service was quite good too and we did not have to wait much. I would visit again.
🇲🇾 Food Terminal in Sandy Springs is such a fantastic spot! The menu is full of exciting and flavorful dishes with a wide variety of Asian fusion options. Everything I tried was delicious—fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is modern and energetic, with stylish decor that adds to the experience. It’s a great place whether you’re dining with friends or just grabbing something special for yourself. I was really impressed and will definitely be coming back. 5 stars for sure!
We've catered here twice, the food is tasty and flavorful, however the portions are quite small. They describe the tray size as "full" however its really only half (depth-wise), and they charge $200 for a full tray.
