We had a reservation so were able to be seated immediately. Great ambiance and decorations, including the multicolored lanterns across the space. I ordered the cocktail that came in a glass shaped like a bird, which was cute but felt more like a novelty considering the amount of drink, as well as the price. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. However, the food came out relatively slow, and I didn’t particularly enjoy any of the dishes we ordered. The risotto was bland, and the portion sizes of the entrees felt more like appetizer portions.
My friends and I had a lovely dinner at The Select. We had 7:00 reservations. I was the first to arrive and I really appreciated that this restaurant didn’t make me wait until my entire party arrived to be seated. Our server Jeremy H was attentive, polite and made sure we had everything we needed. The drinks were great and the bartender didn’t skimp on the alcohol. We ordered the crab dip as our appetizer and we all had the braised short rib as our entree. Everything was 10/10.
First of all, this is the cutest restaurant in the city. They always have the prettiest decorations. Second of all the staff is amazing ask for our friend Dominique for the best food service and attention to detail as for Lilli for the best host experience. They know your name they know where the perfect place to see you and they actually remember things about you every time you return the food was amazing. It was just a pleasant day. It wasn’t even my birthday, but I’m so happy. I also went with the best company that also helps but this is a great place to relax. take selfies and enjoy a great customer service experience I would give you guys 1 million stars But it only allowed me to do 20 I will be back and I will recommend many people, including whoever’s reading this!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️x 1million Unofficial hearing
Love love love this place! We ordered the Burger AGAIN! ITS DELICIOUS. I also love their Braised Short Rib here. Cocktails and Mocktails on point! I had to send my fries back because they were not hot...and a few were missing lol (not sure why it was so few)🤔 They made it right as they always do! Try it!
Cute place with a nice vibe and the food was alright — but I left feeling pretty disappointed. I added scallops to my $26 risotto for $24 and only got three pieces. Would’ve been nice if it stated it on the menu or brought up by the waiter, especially since it’s specifically itemized on the receipt as “3 Scallops”. Heads up to ask about portion sizes before you add anything on.
Love this place! The oysters tasted extremely fresh, the octopus melted in your mouth, the NY strip was soft and flavorful, the fries hit that umami taste and the drinks were well balanced. The price was pretty high, but the waitress we had more than made up for it with the best service I've had anywhere!
Got there towards the end of happy hour. Heard great things about their burger and had to check it out. Good deal on food during happy hour as prices are a bit cheaper but it's limited to food (no happy hour on drinks which was a bummer) Burger was a sesame bun but in pictures and on their own website it seemed to be brioche. Decent taste but wasn't mind blowing as it was hyped to be. Not sure if it was because it's a Happy Hour version where it's made cheaper or what. Dessert (toffee pudding) was the best thing I ate.Disappointed that they upsell on their "house" martinis with Grey Goose but don't actually mention it beforehand. Seems a bit underhanded to say "is Grey goose OK? " after I order the espresso as if I know what your house drink already includes. Had I known it wasn't made with Grey Goose, I would at least know and would have all the info to then make that decision to upgrade the drink. But all in all, food was eaten drinks were had. An experience nonetheless.
This was my first time here at the select and I must say everything about it was great. The food tasted wonderful and it helps to use a person who is welcoming when you come in to eat. William was an amazing host and he catered to our every need. He was nothing shy of amazing. His personality was great, food choices were great, and his overall energy toward his work was amazing! I would say I’d come back here just to eat good and spend time with William again! I highly recommend him and this restaurant.
We loved every dish we had. The fried duck meat balls had a wonderful variety of flavors. The steak Tartare was one our favorites. The braised beef rib was tender and full of great flavors. I could have done without the kimchi, it just didnt work for me and I love kimchi. The scallops with risotto was cooked perfectly. The deserts were excellent.
Awesome food and amazing service! Tara was such a kind and attentive server! Made sure to share all the specials with us and had excellent customer service! Thanks! We will be back!Try the octopus starter! It’s sooo good!
