Visited Shimla Hill Park in Abbottabad, managed by the Tehsil Municipal Administration. Upon arrival by car, I was first charged a parking fee. Then, to enter the park, a separate entry fee was collected for each individual. Additional charges applied for every children's ride, and even the pheasantry had a separate entry fee per person. This is a public park developed with taxpayer money—money that citizens already contribute through income taxes, utility bills, fuel charges, and daily expenses. It's frustrating to see such excessive, layered charges for every single facility in a space that should be freely and fairly accessible to the public. Even more concerning was the sight of precious deodar tree branches and logs lying in the parking area, apparently being used for burning or to run the café, instead of using proper alternatives like LPG. This not only raises environmental concerns but also suggests a lack of accountability in resource management. What makes this situation worse is the poor maintenance of the park. Cleanliness was lacking, and basic facilities like washrooms were either not available or not properly maintained. Unfortunately, Lady Garden Park in Abbottabad shows a similar pattern. I strongly urge the relevant authorities to visit these parks themselves and conduct a proper review. Such public spaces should not feel like a burden on visitors, nor should they be sites of mismanagement or environmental negligence. The people deserve better.

The staff is very arrogant and rude, cleanliness needs a lot of improvement rest its a good park especially for cloudy weather or in the evening. Ticket prices of swings and plays need rationalisation as even the jumping matt costs a 100 PKR per kid for only 10 mins and the incharge becomes a villain as soon as 10 mins are completed.

Shimla Hills Points Park offers breathtaking views of the mountains and lush greenery all around. It’s a peaceful and refreshing place to relax, take photos, or just enjoy nature. There are several viewpoints, walking paths, and spots to sit and enjoy the cool breeze. Perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers. Clean environment, friendly locals, and unforgettable scenery — highly recommended if you’re visiting Shimla!
