Abbottabad Chairlift

It is a worth visiting place. But be careful of a man standing outside in who charge for parking fee. He allegedly opened the nuts of my tyre on refusing to pay the 100 rupees. I have handed him over to police but i know he will again b there

Lovely experience. One of the longest chairlift, takes almost 22 minutes on one side. Finish point is not very attractive however there are place for hiking. Its scenic beauty multiplies in July/ August. Google map gives worst option of route which should not be taken. Recommended route is shown in picture

Road to Abbottabad Chairlift is bad, cars can go there. But no proper parking available. Just need to park cars on one side rocky area It's only suitable for those people who don't have time & budget for Ayubiya or patriata because on the other side of Abbottabad chairlift there is nothing more than a small beautiful peaceful Lake & a very small kids play area You should only visit this during winters, when there is Fog etc (also the condition of this chair lift pillars is very bad, old & rusty during our visit in Sep-2025)

It was great experience at the Abbottabad Chairlift and it was incredible! The breathtaking views, thrilling ride, and peaceful surroundings all contribute to making it a standout attraction. The well-maintained facilities and friendly staff add to the overall positive experience. Ticket prices being reasonable, It was 1000 per adult per trip, trip was 30 minutes each side, which makes it accessible to a wide range of visitors. The nearby food stalls and seating areas are a great bonus, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery while savoring local snacks. In nut shell, i suggest that the Abbottabad Chairlift is a hidden gem worth exploring.

Panoramic and scenic views. The return journey is about 5 km at a height of above 5000 ft. Excellent place for family outing near Abbottabad. The fare per person is Rs.800.
