I had lunch at Ambarsariya and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was tasty and well-prepared, and the ambience was inviting and comfortable. The staff were courteous and polite, though the service was a bit on the slower side. With some improvement in serving time, this place could be even better. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

It was one of the best desi dinning experience we had. Tried their 1. Mutton hareesa : Taste amazing, rich flavour delicious. 2. Chicken cheese kebab: soft, tender, juicy, delicious, very flavourful with ample amount of cheese, 3. Mutton chanmp Qeema: Fresh and Tasty with right amount of spices and oil Cherry on top was their complimentary Gur walay Rice with khoya and nuts. Staff was really helpful and hospitable

The filling was rich and aromatic, with hints of green chili, coriander, and just the right amount of masala to balance the meaty flavor. Visited Ambarsariya in Gulberg, Lahore, for an authentic Lahori desi meal, and the experience was defined entirely by the quality of the cooking. ​The food here is genuinely excellent. We started with their Hareesa, which was rich, perfectly spiced, and comforting—a true highlight and definitely worth ordering. The Kebab Platter offered a satisfying variety of juicy, well-marinated meats, and the accompanying Mince Naans (Qeema Naans) were fresh, savory, and outstanding. The kitchen clearly knows its traditional cuisine well. ​However, the ambience and service were noticeably lacking. The dining area felt somewhat bare and could benefit significantly from a refresh to match the quality of the food. Similarly, the service was a bit slow and inattentive at times. ​Overall, Ambarsariya is a strong recommendation if your primary focus is on fantastic, authentic Pakistani food. Go for the Hareesa and the Qeema Naan—you won't be disappointed—just manage your expectations regarding the dining atmosphere and attentiveness of the staff.
