Mystic Seaport Museum
Mystic Seaport Museum is the largest maritime museum in the United States, spread over about nineteen acres on the east bank of the Mystic River. Its recreated nineteenth-century seaport village includes more than sixty historic buildings, many moved here and restored, among them a ship chandlery, a printing shop, a cooperage and a tavern.
