I recently took in my 2015 Chevy Silverado, 2500 HD diesel to Willamette Auto Care for an oil change. During the inspection of my truck the mechanic found two issues that could have developed into major problems if left unresolved. I was alarmed that the local dealer shop that I had been taking the truck to for several years had not caught these problems in previous maintenance inspections. I am confident now that we can hitch up our fifth wheel trailer and hit the road without worry. Nicely done Willamette Auto! Mark F.

I would be very careful about going to this place. I was initially quoted $1500 in repairs which I authorized. But after that they some how managed to bring up the cost to $2100 and they didnt give me any reason for it. After a couple discounts though it was brought down to $1800. My car was in their shop for more time than they initially said it would take. Dropped it off 7am Friday and was supposed to pick it up Monday morning, but no, they didnt have it ready until Tuesday close to end of day. They never called, never followed up, I always had to call and ask what the status was. I paid $1K up front and when the repairs were "done" I had to pay the remaining balance of $800. Easy right? No lol. When I got my final bill, they tacked on an additional $200!! When I asked what it was for, Leah, their front desk rep, said "I dont know, we got a cheaper part to put in" my obvious response was "well why didnt you tell? and if you got a cheaper part put in, why wouldnt you lower the price? You hiked it up instead". I never got a clear answer as to what the changes were and why they were made without my authorization. In the end I paid the remaining balance of $800 and my car was returned to me with one of the headlight bulbs broken.... This place is full of liars and thieves. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE. I regret coming here and giving them any time to work on my car. I am a veteran, they did all that knowing my service. I dont demand respect, but at least dont lie or steal from me or anyone.

I brought my ML 320 to Willamette Automotive on very short notice when the transmission needed to be reprogrammed, and they were not only extremely accommodating and kind, they were amazingly efficient! The service was complete the next day, which I was very grateful for as it’s my daily driver, and I was also very reassured by the fact that they tested and checked the work twice before officially releasing it back to me. They car came back to me clean and working better than ever, and I was happily surprised when I received the invoice for the work, the pricing was more than fair for the work, the time, and their willingness to squeeze my job in on such short notice. I cannot recommend Willamette Automotive enough, they are so friendly and professional and do excellent work in an extremely timely fashion!

I went to willamette for an oil change and to diagnose my check engine light. When the shop person came out to the lobby, he must have not realized I was there and proceeded to tell the receptionist "this should be an easyy upsell". I was shocked but not as shocked as I was when i saw the price quote. My 2021 truck apparently needed $7000 dollars in repairs. When i asked why the check engine light was on, I was told they didnt check the code!! They had even told me i needed a fuel filter when they themselves had done the fuel filter a few months back. I went and took it to a different shop and they quotes me less than a third of what willamette quoted me. On top of all that, when I opened the hood when I got home, they hadnt put my oil cap back on, it was just sitting in my hood. Im disappointed and feel very offended as a woman that they would make a comment such as "this should be an easy upsell". Their quote doesnt even break down costs of parts vs labor
