I needed a chimney cap made. The service is prompt. The cost was as quoted and very reasonable. Customer service is excellent. I would recommend this establishment to anyone needing metal work.

Cannot speak to actual service but was quoted $600 for a simple part change under warranty. This would be for labor alone. When asked why so much for a job that should take 1 man less than an hour, I was informed they have a 4 hour minimum fee. This was after already paying a $70 diagnostic fee just to get in the game. Sorry but this is not an acceptable business practice in the service industry, and rather dishonest. I wish them the best. Edit: In response to you, Sir, thank you for the specific details. Very informative, and highly technical. Doesn't change the fact that you're charging 4 hours labor (at a very high hourly rate) for something that takes far less than that to do. I can describe many processes in such detail that sound impressive but in all actuality are very rapidly executable tasks. The job as you described can be completed by others in less than an hour. I'm sure your techs do fantastic work, but you should warn customers of your unreasonable rates before you demand a $70 diagnostic fee that leaves a customer empty handed. Again, all the best.

I have used Modern Heating and Cooling for years. Very professional they never over charge And do a excellent job. I highly recommend them.
