Mac Plumbing Heating & Air

My HVAC unit went out at the tale end of this winter storm Fern so I reached out to Mac plumbing heating and air on Tuesday 2/4/26 specifically because I know an employee that I identify as a man of integrity. I explained that my old HVAC system croaked and that my house wouldn’t heat above 50 degrees without the assistance of our fireplace (20 year old HVAC system). I let them know that I wanted to move as quickly as possible without shopping the job around. They quoted me one price that I found to be highly competitive so I let them know that I would like to move forward as soon as possible. The next day (Wednesday 2/4/26) I got a phone call from Mac asking I ready for some heat. I said yes, sir, and a couple hours later around noon I had a knock on my door from Brandon and Reed followed by Francisco in a 2nd van. They said hey, your new HVAC is on the way we’re gonna go ahead and pull that old one. I was like oh wow, let’s go! These three gentlemen worked diligently with ice around them in 20-30 degree weather for roughly 8hrs until we had a new HVAC system installed. When the new HVAC arrived Mac the owner Introduced himself and make sure everything was running good. Not even gonna lie I overheard him talking to his office and working on moving stuff around because in his words “We can’t have a family going without heat”. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can definitely say I will be a customer for life.

Our water main broke Saturday morning just as the historic ice storm began. We have some great neighbors (Buddy) who gave us a direct line to Mac Plumbing and even though Bruce was out of town he called ahead and Adam called us back. Understandable that with the weather and roads prohibited immediate action but on Wednesday in freezing temps and frozen ground, the "crew" showed up and had us with running water by afternoon. Professional, courteous and respectful of property they kept us advised along the way. We're grateful!

Quick service for a frozen and potentially cracked hose bib. Cole arrived same day, assessed that only the vent cap had broken. I had them replace the entire bib anyhow due to other issues with it. I appreciate a man honest enough to offer the minimal required repair. Regarding price, job required two guys to drive 30 min each way in a stocked truck to work in a crawl space, business overhead, salaries, insurance, benefits, licenses.... Happy for Cole to earn his living while I was at work earning mine.
