My car won’t start and won’t crank over. What do I do?

Jim's Auto Services advises checking the battery voltage by turning on the headlights. If the lights dim when turning the ignition, the battery may be low or dead. Check battery cables for looseness or corrosion. If lights stay bright, the starter or starter solenoid may be faulty. For jumper cables, connect red terminals first, then black (ground), and start the running car to assist the broken car. Safety glasses are recommended when working around batteries.

I was in St Cloud for spring break and my alternator died on me. They were busy and had other cars to get to. They knew I was in dire need and had to get back home, they worked me in and gave me GREAT prices! I am forever grateful to the wonderfully family owned establishment. When I first walked in, the receptionist greeted me immediately. She had her niece and mother there. It was so beautiful to see. I recommend this place before going to any big time dealer! Thank you so much!

I’ve been going here for 3 years with all sorts of vehicles. Heck I still bring my cars here even though I moved to the Metro. They are very good at what they do. Small family owned business that’s trust worthy and professional. I’d recommend to anyone!
