We were hearing an odd whirring noise from our 10 year old gas boiler. The noise was inconsistent. I called Hoffman & Kelley who I’ve used before and they came out the same day. Tom Holdsworth the technician thought it be caused by a buildup of sediment in the system. Our town does not have the best water. After adding a cleaning solution to the boiler the whirring noise has gone away. Thank you Tom. Hoffman & Kelley has become our go to plumber.

Replaced two fill valves on two toilets, one toilet water supply shut off valve and a couple of washing machine supply valves. Provided advice to order American Standard flush valves for both toilets and associated bolts and gaskets as the flush valve gaskets were getting on in age. Also provided info on future hot water heater replacement (also getting on in age) and a couple of outdoor water spigots which need replacing when the weather warms up. Satisfied with quality of work, politeness and cleanliness of the licensed plumber and of advice (which I asked about being pro-active about future repairs). Roughly 2 hours to finish all requested jobs and provide advice on potential future jobs which I requested. I used to do the jobs I had done today myself at a far cheaper price when I was younger but I can’t clamber around on the floor anymore due advanced age.
