GAI’A Japanese Fusion

Delicious, food taste and quality amazing, attentive service, what else could you ask for One of my favourite restaurants, will be back on my next visit

Our initial experience this time was very good based upon the dishes we ate before our main course which were the Gaia Special Soup, Tom Yom with Shrimp soup, Crab Crunchy Salad and the California Sushi roll. We expressed our gratitude to the waiter because thus far everything was delicious and the presentation was impressive. We had a disappointed visit about 6 months ago but decided to give Gai'a another chance because we know unexpected things can happen. After showing our gratitude this visit with the delicious food we had just eaten, to our surprise our steak dinner was a deceitful one. My wife loves ribeye steak and eats it often and upon receiving it she noticed it wasn't a ribeye at all. The cut of steak they gave us was a cheaper cut. We weren't sure whether or not it was intentional but the waiter admitted the steak was wrong but instead of canceling it at our request he had another one made basically forcing us to buy a meal we were upset with. He didn't show remorse or shame but instead gave an attitude and became cold. The right action should have been to either cancel it at our intial request but because he had already made it without asking us it should have been free of charge. The re made steak was also a very small size and I wouldn't recommend getting it. When ordering our food the waiter deterred us from ordering a couple items which led us to assume it wasn't available or to profit from higher sales. Luckily my wife and I eat at many different places and were able to spot the problem. It's upsetting to think how many people are getting scammed with paying more for these steaks because they don't know better. The food was good but we're a little hesitant on going again because of this issue. We hope that in the future Gai'a can train it's employees to be more careful so that it's customers aren't being scammed by these prices. Loyalty matters.

Food was alright not that much good like it used to be before. Waiters attitude is weird. They dont listen to you at all. Atmosphere is totally off over here. Didn’t like the vibe. People who are coming here are smoking non stop and having a negative vibe.

Whenever I visit Gai’a for sushi and delicious food, I'm always delighted. It never fails to impress me, especially with their sushi, which I absolutely love. However, I believe they could improve by enhancing the sizes of their portions. Overall, it's always a fantastic experience dining there, but a bit more food would make it even better.
