OKA. Pan Asian and Sushi

Had an amazing experience trying sushi rolls. Loved the ambience of the restaurant and outstanding customer service. Chicken drumsticks, Prawn sushi along with dragon sushi roll. The best sushi restaurant in Lahore.

Across the board discount plastic money is worth it with no compromise on quality. The name sounded like one of the best and most iconic restaurants from teenage years from karachi but no it was their branch or offshoot. Went there on a Friday night, quiet late, but refreshingly, the staff was very courteous and accomdating. Ordered their Dynamite prawns. I'm scared to say this out loud, but yea, their recipe is better than that of p.f. changs. How? Their glazing was not thick, hence felt light having it. The flavour had more unadultered sour kick to it without the sweetness so it was perfect for me. Thai cashewnuts chicken was on the dry side, a good change from the ordinary. The meat was glazed with sweet taste to it, and copious amounts of nuts were added to balance the taste. Chang Mai Special beef sounded very exotic and special just like its namesake city from Thailand but it was anything but. The base of the sauce tasted like derived from Worcester sauce with a chefs twist but the manager was very tight lipped to my query regarding the making of the sauce. Some people would like it but probably didn't feel it that day, the meat was tender and tasted good. My only complaint with the dish was that it felt very oily as the photo also shows an layer of oil all around just like our desi tarka ! Lol. The mahool was very cozy, should be a popular dating spot soon in my opinion with its dim lit dining area and fancy table top portable LED lights, a modern twist to candle lit dinners. Overall is a good addition with very good staff and ambiance. Would like to try more of their dishes soon.

I recently dined at Oka Restaurant in DHA, and it was an excellent experience! Their sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor — easily some of the best in town. The teppanyaki was equally impressive; watching the chef cook right in front of us added a fun and lively touch to the evening, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The ambiance is modern yet cozy, and the staff was attentive and friendly, making the whole visit enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone craving authentic Japanese flavors in Karachi.

I recently tried OKA and had a great experience. I ordered their Sweet & Sour, Glazed Sesame Chicken and Kung Pao, and both were really good—especially the Sweet & Sour, which was just amazing. The restaurant has a nice ambience that makes it enjoyable to sit and dine. The staff was well-mannered, professional, and attentive in serving. Overall, it was an amazing experience and definitely a place worth visiting again.

Good taste. Proper rich ingredients asian food. Ambiance is 10/10. Staff is good. Floor sitting also available which is a bit unique in a asian restaurant. Rice quantity was less. Their fish chilli dry is spicy but fish itself had no such taste. Recommendable but a bit costly comperatively.
