One of their doctor ( Dr Benish Anwar) didn't come on her schedule on Monday but the receptionist kept telling us that the doctor was on the way. We waited for 2 hours after her scheduled and then left. Try to avoid and don't trust the receptionist.

They should work on their staff as most of the interaction is done with staff while waiting or gaining information. The place is really congested 😕 plus their ayas were very angry even when the floor is being dirty in waiting area 😆 You are supposed to wait three to four hours as there is no guidance about your turn. Although doctors are professional and guide you better.

Very bad behaviour of staff nurses including ayyas and especially the lady on reception who attends the call is so unethical and manner less. CEO needs to pay attention towards their behaviour and conduct proper training sessions for improvement in behaviour because they often misguide patients about the waiting time and availability of doctors. .

Regarding staff professionalism , there is room for improvement. Many staff members do not appear to be highly educated, and there have been instances where patients' names were misspelled in records. Additionally, their behavior lacks the professionalism expected in a healthcare environment, which can be frustrating for patients and their families. The cleanliness of the hospital is satisfactory, but the overall space and layout feel extremely congested. The hospital structure seems to have been originally designed for a different purpose and later converted into a medical facility. This results in a cramped environment, making it difficult for patients and staff to move around comfortably. During my visit in winter , the hospital felt excessively humid, raising concerns about how uncomfortable it might be during the summer months . Proper ventilation and climate control measures could significantly improve the patient experience. On a positive note, the doctors were professional and provided thorough medical checkups. Additionally, the hospital has an in-house pharmacy and laboratory , which is convenient for patients needing immediate medications. Overall, while Dar-ul-Barkat Hospital provides essential healthcare services, improvements in staff training, space management, and environmental control could enhance the experience for patients. #Sheikhupura #Hospital
