Bagh - The Desi Experience

The space is great. They are literally situated in a real garden. The views are amazing. The food quality is also good. The staff is cooperative. As far as the price is concerned they are on the expensicve side. But overall it is an excellent place to dine in with your family. One more point they have a good parking space.

Although I am not a big fan of desi cuisine still social media hype forced me to try this restaurant and i am regretting it. It is located off mm alam road at a beautiful serene lush green park full marks to location from my side. It took 20 mins for the order taker to arrive at my table which was frustrating, I ordered beef khoya kebab, chicken cheese kebab, malai boti, madrasi chicken handi and mutton shinwari karahi. My order came after good 50 minutes and still it was served COLD. The bbq was literally tasteless but handi and shinwari karahi were good. I really feel bad for the owner the management is disastrous. I know the overall experience would have been entirely different if the order had arrived warm.

We went for a hi-tea at Bagh to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Unfortunately, the food was not fresh, and even the taste was disappointing. They charged us for 10 persons, although we were only 9. Their excuse was that we had 5 babies, so they added an extra person’s charge for children. However, all the babies were under 2 years old. We tried to negotiate with them, but the staff was uncooperative. Even the manager failed to provide a proper reason and behaved rudely. For me, it was never about the money—I can easily pay for any child if they are of the proper age. But if they had spoken politely and explained properly, it wouldn’t have been an issue. Unfortunately, their rude behavior made it unacceptable. I would never recommend anyone to visit such a place where neither the food is good nor the customers are treated with respect.

We went there for hi-tea. The ambiance was cool and cozy but when it comes to food, we were a bit disappointed. The taste of the food could be much better and the chairs need a good cleaning though. The dessert section could be more improved. This restaurant is located in a park.That's why they named it Baagh

Bagh- The Desi Experience is a great desi option in Lahore eatries. It is located in HEC park Gurumanget road Gulberg off the MM Alam road. We went there for lunch. We ordered their Mutton chops, Mutton Karahi, Chanp Masala and Mutton pulao. Food was so delicious. They are serving one of the best desi food in gulberg. On the other hand the staff is not well trained. They have zero knowledge about serving the guests. Their management seriously need to look into this area. Our experience would be one of the best if the service was good. Overall experience was good. Recommended
