Brought my pioneer sx525 in to get looked at. I was told it needed a new power supply. They had it for 10 weeks, It now sounds like crap. It used to have a nice warm sound, now it's harsh sounding. All this for $500.00

I brought my 50 year old Kenwood KA-3500 in for left channel cutting out. Alex was very thorough in trying to find problem, even called me to get more info on when this was occurring. It only happened when using turn table; even after I replaced the cables. Alex thoroughly cleaned the amplifier, and then tested it for 24 hours with no problems. He suggested maybe checking out other components on turn table and I replaced cartridge; was 50 years old. After hooking up amplifier to my stereo components I played one of my 50 year old albums. The amplifier sounded so clear and crisp just like the day I purchased it long ago. I would definitely recommend Alex to anyone who would like their older equipment sounding new again. Thanks Alex for taking the time and concern to recondition my amplifier!!!

Do not bring your turntables here. Paid $80 up front to get some cables replaced, waited three months with no word. Called several times with no information, only to pick it up to find it had been broken. The power switch no longer works, and there are several scratches that were not there before. The platter will not spin without noticeably scraping against the chassis because the screws were tightened to the point of poking out of the top of the turntable. On top of that, the cables werent even replaced because they "worked." My turntable is now likely unfixable, and I was refused a refund. Avoid at all costs if you want your things back in one piece.
