I have been looking for a qualified electrical company to set up a portable generator connect to my main box. I read a review on facebook about Werkheiser Electric and realized this may be the company I wanted to check out. I contacted them and I was pleasantly surprised by the straightforward response I received. I was impressed with their knowledge of the electrical systems and explained how I could get a fail safe system to make my idea a reality. The estimate was very respectable and very reasonable. The appointment was made the work was done and I really felt good about how they set up my system. The two men who worked my project were very professional and well versed in what I wanted. They worked in such a timely manner and had the job done in a considerate time. We did a walk through test as thought the power had shut down and the system worked flawlessly. One of my biggest concerns was how safely the system worked. After the test to insure all was working as planned, the guys cleaned everything up and I'm set for extended power loss at my home. If you can't afford a whole house generator, Werkheiser Electric can set up with a great program to help you have electricity in at least certain places where you need it the most. Just a great company and now my #1 place for any electrical problems. Thank you for great service and a great set up.

Outstanding!! Phil, Mark, Zach, and Reed continue to be a joy to work with. Mark & Zack completed 6 tasks - ranging from new switches, rewiring a light & fan, diagnosing cause of electrical disruption, in less than a day. Cleaned up so well - no dirt left behind. Mark picked the perfect light for above my door and fussed to make sure it was installed looking perfect! I have asked them to return to do more! Service, price, time involved all left me quite satisfied

We just moved in and needed a generator hookup as well as some miscellaneous fixups. I picked these guys because I saw their truck at my next-door neighbor's house and I thought "Werkheiser" sounded like some German electrical conglomerate. Imagine my surprise when they turned out to be a local family (one guess as to the last name) and just a good bunch of folks. They were straight with me, let me know when something I wanted didn't make sense to pay them to do, and were professional and respectful of our home, leaving everything finished and looking good. The owner came out to give us the initial quote and clearly was familiar with all the local codes and experienced enough to know exactly what was needed. The techs who did the actual work, Mark and Kedaar, were careful and considerate and did fantastic, clean work all around. I can say for sure I'd hire them again - in fact I have them coming back out to quote me on more work I'd like done. It's so good to know a reliable contractor when you have a new house you need to make into a home! Werkheiser is a great choice. Thanks, neighbor-I-don't-even-know!

Have had these guys come out twice to our home. Once to replace our entire panel and update many things throughout our older home and another to mount the 77 inch TV. Panel is super easy to read now, before it was a mess and you couldn’t tell which breakers triggered what. They’re always professional and kind. They’re always realistic about expectations and what’s needed for the house. They’re always kind towards my cats too, which I greatly appreciate haha but really they’re great! I will use them again in the future for sure.

We bought a house that had old knob and tube wiring that needed to be addressed on our second floor. Steve and Kedaar did a wonderful job addressing this issue as well as adding new grounded outlets. They actively found ways to get the job done while saving us money each step of the way. Prices were very fair and the team is knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend if you're looking for electrical work.
