One of the oldest restaurants in Abbottabad. Good food taste. A but expensive though.

Usmania Restaurant, known for its tradition of tasty food, seems to have lost some of its glory. While it maintains a simple ambiance, it falls short in delivering the expected culinary experience. The food, once renowned for its flavors, now appears to be average at best. Moreover, the service, a crucial aspect of any dining experience, leaves much to be desired, failing to meet the mark of excellence expected from a restaurant of its caliber. Despite its past reputation, Usmania Restaurant currently struggles to uphold its standards and may require some improvements in both food quality and service to regain its former prestige.

I shelled out 1,500 PKR for what Usmania calls a "family-size vegetable soup." What I got instead was a pot of watery cabbage bathwater—a tasteless, miserable slop. Zero proper vegetables, zero seasoning, and absolutely no flavor at all. Calling this disaster "soup" is outright fraud—I wouldn't pay even 150 PKR for this garbage at a roadside stall, let alone 1,500 PKR at a restaurant claiming to offer fine dining. When I called to voice my complaint, your staff rudely cut the call the moment they sensed accountability coming their way. This isn't customer service; it's shameless disrespect and cowardice. Clearly, you don't value customer feedback, nor do you care about providing quality food or decent service. Shame on you, Usmania, for treating your customers this way. Fix your kitchen standards, retrain your careless staff, and stop exploiting customers. Until you drastically improve, I'll make sure everyone I know stays clear of this sorry excuse for a restaurant. Never again!

Great experience. We ordered full Bakra , it was delicious. Was costly but worth it.

Food was good not something too praiseworthy. Service is like old traditional style like "pheki and thandi". The ambiance and sitting would make our grandfathers and uncles happy but it does not match today's dining experiences of a modern restaurant. Talking of grandfathers and old uncles, please make sure you take those who can climb quite a number of stairs to reach 1st floor. There is no wheel chair accessibility either. Parking is enough at the entrance and on the road side but don't keep your hopes too high on a busy day.
