They've had my car almost 2 years over a bad "new" transmission that they installed and was bad from the start. Millions of excuses while my car rots in their parking lot waiting for their warranty fairy to come by. Update: got my car back with a broken dash board, broken radio and dash kit, and my glove box contents emptied on the seat. Still not driveable either.

These guys were fast, efficient, and honest. I took in my 2001 Rodeo thinking it had transmission issues, come to find out it was just low on transmission fluid. They Topped it off free of charge when I was expecting at least a traditional flush or a power flush. They could've taken me for a ride and charged me for unnecessary stuff, but they were honest and awesome with everything. I'll definitely be going back to them for any future transmission needs.

This place is a rip off, they take advantage of you.. you come in for there great price 1 799 for a rebuilt transmission , and free check and walk out payin 5000 took advantage of my situation, then air conditioning working great , now it's not working at all, then said they didn't touch it going to recommend someone else to me . What a joke noon I'm not going to where you recommend or coming here or recommending it to anyone especially if your trying to stay away from people that take advantage of you

Did business with Matt and Blaine (I believe was his name... maybe it was Blake?) at the Sunset location. Cost me $800.00 less to have them rebuild my transmission rather than replacing it elsewhere. Their price beat that of the 4 other shops I got quotes from and they were able to setup financing for the repair quickly with no headache. The warranty was explained to me clearly and they explained all their guidelines to follow to prevent it from being voided and it is more than reasonable and will ensure the life of the repair. Down to earth, experienced techs that know what their doing. Iโ€™m At 250 miles and so far everythingโ€™s like new. Would totally recommend them to anyone dealing with the hefty auto repair headache.

Took my Toyota into the sunset location due to what I thought was possible transmission slipping/shudder. Later that day I received a call back saying that the mechanic was saying that the transmission was in fact slipping and that it was diagnosed as having a internal transmission problem. I was quoted over $500 for them just to take a look into what the problem may be and then whatever it would cost on top of that. I called them back saying that I would be coming in to get the vehicle as I couldn't do anything at the time .They said okay and I told them I would be in within 15 to 20 minutes. When I got to the shop the employee there had no idea that was coming in and had the transmission pan dropped and said I would need to wait another 20 minutes while he put it back together. Long story short I took this to two other reputable transmission shops and was told my transmission had absolutely nothing wrong with it and that the shutter I was experiencing was due to the engine misfiring. After getting another opinion that told me the same thing I went ahead and replaced my spark plugs the truck runs great now it has no problem whatsoever all for the cost of $50 for new spark plugs. That's a hell of a difference than the $500 Tanner Transmissions was trying to charge me just to look at the transmission which had nothing wrong with it in the first place. I highly recommend you stay away from this place as they were very dishonest about what the problem actually was. This location also disassembled things off my truck that did not need to be to check the transmission and left bolts out from the bottom of my truck. We were called to come back in to have them put the bolts back in and when we did and told them what another shop was saying we were sworn at threatened and told to leave their shop when they're the ones who messed up and called us in the first place to fix the mistake they had made. Again stay away from this company you will save yourself a lot of frustration in a long run.
