Syrian Shawarma

This is a branch of the same name restaurant as in F-10, however this branch is way behind in variety of menu, availability of menu items, and serving time. This restaurant opened three years ago and they have had Beef Shwarma printed on their menu, but have never actually had it available in the restaurant. The quantity and quality of the Chicken Shwarma is pretty good, however the taste of all items is better at the parent branch. Prices are reasonable given the quantity. The indoor seating area is not properly air conditioned as it gets a lot of heat from the open kitchen, so you either have to sit right under one of the split AC’s or start sweating. Ambiance also needs some improvement especially with a little bit more lighting. The service staff are nice, just like to take their time while serving. Still the food quality is better than similar restaurants in the area.

We ordered a Shawarma and a platter. The Shawarma was cooked perfectly and had such a great taste! The platter was decent, but nothing really stood out. I wish there would have been a bit more sauce with it, so make sure to ask for extra if you decide to order it again. As for the table, it kind of reminded me of my university days, which was a bit nostalgic but not exactly the vibe I was hoping for.

I recently visited Syrian Shawarma at Civic Center, Bahria Town. Platter: The platter was top-notch, well-presented, and easily enough for 4–5 people. Definitely worth trying if you’re a platter lover. I’d rate it 8/10. Chicken Shawarma: This was the most hyped item, but honestly, it didn’t meet my expectations. The taste was average and didn’t live up to the buzz — 5/10. Kabuli Pulao: I was also disappointed here. The rice lacked the authentic flavor and feel of Kabuli Pulao, coming across more like plain pulao. Overall, it’s a good spot for platter lovers, with a loaded platter offering a variety of items. But if you’re going specifically for shawarma or Kabuli Pulao, you might not find them as satisfying.
