Strings & Things Music is a family-owned independent music store serving Concord, New Hampshire. Established in 1982, Strings & Things Music provides a wide range of services including instrument sales, repairs, rentals, lessons, and consignment. The store offers guitars, basses, mandolins, ukuleles, banjos, violins, and other stringed instruments along with accessories and pro audio equipment. The repair department handles setups, restrings, complete guitar refrets, and repairs for various stringed instruments. With over twenty instructors and three instrument repairmen on staff, Strings & Things Music supports the local music community with knowledgeable service and a welcoming atmosphere.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. A gentleman who wore a hat, and had long-ish hair (I forgot his name, ugh) repaired my guitar for an AMAZING price. This thing has NEVER BEEN IN THIS CONDITION. I was laughing out loud because of how happy I was, they worked a miracle on my guitar New bridge pins, neck adjustments, fixed my broken aux, re-grounded wiring, new strings, installed a tonewood, and polished/cleaned my guitar to the point I could see my reflection on the neck. I’m sorry if my rating seems weird, I’m just so happy. Thank you strings and things, seriously.
Moved up to Concord 5 years ago. Finally went to these guys with my 1st guitar I ever had and learned on. Sold it over 30 years ago. Ran into the guys brother I sold it to.Needed some Lovin. What a great job they did! Plays like it did when I was 17. These guys are all #1! Thank you!
What a great, locally owned music shop this is. You just don't find many shops like this anymore. Mike B. and Eric are very knowledgeable and Mike G. is an amazing guitar teacher and player. Buy your guitar gear here, take some lessons, stop in a few times and you'll be on a first name basis with everyone. Rock on guys!
Incredibly friendly staff walked me through the trade in options and gave me a fair price quote. Great selection of axes for every taste and budget. Familiar brands like Martin and Taylor and more exclusive selections from Eastman, Suhr, and Nash. All quality stuff. Highly recommended.
Walked in because my guitar wasn't playing through my amp. 5 mins of diagnosing and the amp was fixed. Very friendly, efficient and honest service.
