Smokey's Texas Grill

Try anything other than the Steak. Ordered steaks and they were awful. Haven't tried other items on the menu. It felt left like you are eating barbecue with spices, fried onions and no sense of cooking levels. The sense of doneness is entirely missing. Regardless of your choice, you get everything in between medium well to well cooked. The restaurant has two floors, the upper floor has no air conditioning, tables not ready for the customers as the restaurant never gets enough people.

The food was as lame as it gets. The place has been around for 7-8 years and somehow still surviving despite the mediocre food. The menu is decent with a variety of items. We tried the tacos and all I can say is, I could cook better ones at home. The peppercorn steak was made from meat that was of low quality and the jack burger was barely edible. Prices are okay and the place looks like it had a decent do-over so that was good. The service was probably the best part with the stuff doing their jobs well. But yeah overall, it's a total miss.

The food is okay in taste, served fresh and really hot. The seating is good, the environment is good. Service is quick and fast but the Food can be improved. Overall, just about a good experience. Dynamite chicken 7/10 Stuffed chicken 8/10 Cowboy Steak 6.5/10

The ambience was nice with a cozy, small seating area. However, the food was a letdown — the bread served with the pasta was stale, and the portion size was quite small. The fresh lime drink was served at room temperature, which wasn’t very refreshing. Overall, it’s okay for a one-time visit, but not something I'll return for.

Today I visited Smokey’s Texas Grill (DHA Phase 3, Y Block) with my wife. We ordered a steak and a burger. The steak was flavorful and overall good, and the burger also tasted nice. However, we faced a very disappointing experience. My wife couldn’t finish her burger and got half of it packed to take home. When we reached home and opened the box, we were shocked to find that the beef patty was missing from the leftover burger! For a place that charges premium prices, such negligence is unacceptable. We paid for the food, yet our leftover meal was not returned properly. This level of carelessness is extremely disappointing. Attaching pictures as proof. Based on this experience, I would not recommend anyone to dine here.
