Good place for little ones to see some animals
They are improving it day by day still lot more to be done. Short of many animals
It was good experience especially kids enjoyed it.
It's name is "Safari VILLAS Zoo" & don't get it mix with Safari Zoo because if you do it then you actually change the definition of "Safari" 😉. So, this tiny zoo is built for local residents of Safari Villas so, it must be reviewed from that point of view. Local kids love to come here. Local families bring their guests here too because this tiny zoo, & small beautifully designed park is main feature of this residential block. You can see ducks, Deers, white Australian Deer, Puma, cougar, Arial, monkey & beautiful peacocks here. People love to take snaps here. For Kids, it's a lovely place. Entry is free. Bahria town management has kept the tiny zoo in a good condition.
Visiting the zoo is always a unique blend of education, entertainment, and wonder, and my recent trip did not disappoint. Nestled in a lush, spacious setting, the zoo offers an impressive variety of animals and exhibits that cater to visitors of all ages. From the moment I stepped through the entrance, I was greeted with friendly staff, clear signage, and a sense of excitement in the air. The zoo is thoughtfully designed, with well-maintained paths and plenty of shaded areas, making it easy to navigate and comfortable even during warmer hours. One of the highlights was the African Savannah exhibit, where giraffes, zebras, and antelopes roamed in a large, open environment. It was heartening to see the animals housed in enclosures that mimicked their natural habitats as closely as possible. The primate section was equally fascinating, featuring chimpanzees, orangutans, and various monkey species. The animals appeared active and engaged, and their enclosures included toys and climbing structures that encouraged natural behaviors. Interpretive signs provided engaging facts about each species, their diets, conservation status, and origin, adding depth to the experience. Another standout was the aquarium and reptile house. Here, visitors could marvel at exotic fish, snakes, and amphibians in beautifully lit tanks and terrariums. The highlight of this section was a massive saltwater tank showcasing colorful coral reefs and tropical fish, which mesmerized children and adults alike. The zoo also makes a strong effort in conservation and education. Throughout the park, there are educational kiosks, live animal talks, and interactive exhibits that promote awareness about endangered species and the importance of preserving biodiversity. I was especially impressed by a small exhibit focused on local wildlife conservation efforts, showing that the zoo values both global and community-oriented environmental action. However, there are some areas that could use improvement. The food court was somewhat limited in its offerings and a bit pricey, which is often the case at popular attractions. There was a lack of vegetarian and healthy food options, which might be a concern for some visitors. Additionally, a few of the older enclosures, particularly in the bird section, seemed cramped and could benefit from updates to meet modern standards. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive. The zoo was clean, safe, and engaging from start to finish. The staff appeared knowledgeable and passionate, often answering questions and assisting families with directions or animal facts. The gift shop, though predictably commercial, offered a wide range of fun and educational souvenirs. In conclusion, the zoo provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with wildlife in a way that is both entertaining and educational. With its wide range of species, emphasis on conservation, and family-friendly amenities, it’s a destination worth visiting. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a parent with young children, or just looking for a pleasant day out, this zoo offers something memorable for everyone.
