We had a special family situation that required my husband and I to re-think our long term plans - and now found ourselves planning a new large addition. From the minute Bill and Jon stood in our yard and talked about the work needed to excavate the property to support a re-located septic field and addition - to the final delivery, was just a great experience. Lon, Bill, Jon, the drivers and certainly the office plus building crew worked extremely hard for us! Rodenhizer came the day before and set up equipment and coordinated access to our backyard. The next day our team showed up at 7 am and organized the scene and let us know when we would not be able to use our drains. By 7 am the next day, we all had our showers, the laundry and dishes were done and we were ready. At 7:02 they were draining the old septic tank. The challenge turned out to be all the yobks and boulders in the ground. They dug them out, used a jackhammer to break them up. Dump trucks moved in and out to take away the dirt. The new septic tank was delivered. By the end of the day, 6:30 pm, the team was here installing a temporary septic tank so we could use the drains over the long weekend. On Tuesday, they were back shortly before 7 am ready to shape the hole for the tank. The inspector came and everything was perfect. By mid-afternoon, the septic tank was det up and we could use everything. Everything was done by the end of the day! Wonderful! Perfect! Determined! Professional!

I do not have enough good things to say about Bill and the Rodenhiser team. I would strongly recommend hiring Rodenhiser Excavating for your next project. Bill and his team completed a project at our house in Dover, MA approximately 3 weeks ago and we are so happy with the results. Bill is detail orientated and went above and beyond throughout the entire project. Bill has the all right equipment to get the job done. My wife and I plan on hiring Rodenhiser Excavating again in the near future. When we first met Bill at our house in the late fall of 2019 my wife and I explained that we were having some water issues around the garage that needed to be addressed. After listening to our concerns Bill knew exactly what to do to solve the drainage problem and communicated the solution clearly in a way we could understand. After our first meeting with Bill my wife and I were impressed with his professionalism, experience and knowledge. We quickly made the decision to discuss some additional work of expanding our front and back yard that had been previously covered by large pine trees and woods. Bill came over once again to evaluate the area and formulated a plan to get the job completed. In sum, Bill was communicative and transparent throughout the entire process, his team installed a new drain to resolve the water issue along with a new 1,500 gallon dry-well and the underground infrastructure to deliver the water to the new dry-well. He was also able to connect a number of downspouts from the house to the new dry-well too. Bill's resolution will take care of all of our long term water issues for sure! In addition, Bill did a wonderful job leveling out our front and back yard, we have planted new grass and look forward to our family utilizing and enjoying this new space for many years to come. It was a pleasure to work with Bill and his highly skilled team of professionals. His execution was perfect and left the work space in better shape than what he found it. Bill is a truly dedicated professional and we appreciate the great work.

We had a burst underground water pipe in our driveway. It was detective work to figure it out. We are so glad to have worked with Rodenhiser Excavating. They provided an excellent customer experiene by way of good communication and professional expertise. What seemed like a huge project they were able to complete in one day.
