PsychCare | Dr. Semra Salik - Consultant Clinical Psychologist | Psychotherapist

I visited PsychCare Clinic in G-8 Markaz Islamabad with my sister, and we left feeling deeply disheartened.Dr. Semra Salik gave my sister barely 5 to 10 minutes, which was mostly just an introduction.Desite that,we were charged Rs.5,000 upfront for this brief interaction. During the short session,the doctor mainly talked about what they might do in the next session and immediately mentioned the full amount they would charge for future visits.It felt like a sales pitch than a professional mental health consultation.I am not sure about other psychologists,but this experience made me lose trust in mental health services here. It's unfortunate to see that in some cases, the focus seems more on making money than truly helping people who are already struggling. If you're considering therapy in Pakistan, please be cautious. Ask clear questions before making any payments and ensure the psychologist genuinely cares about your well- being...Take care of your mental health. Good wishes to all!

Dr Semra has been less of a therapist and more of a support system. I wish I had the resources and could take my entire family to her. She has some magical power how she in just one session gave me my entire analysis and just perfect. ALl that what I was hiding behind all my life and no one could dare tell me of my problems but the way she explained and identified. for sure my best therapy experience.

Dr Semra gave me the confidence to see a client independently when I feared I couldn't. She helped me create a plan and supervised my sessions and now I am here having ny own practice in my city. If I had stayed iN Islamabad, I had worked with her for sure. Thank you for trusting me.

Terrible experience with Dr. Semra Salik. She was judgmental and overly focused on my source of income, she kept emphasizing to openly tell how i am gonna pay for this therapy. She blamed me for my circumstances and sufferings. She made me feel I’m a negative person, and someone who sees the glass empty, leaving me feeling worse about myself. The session led to terrible emotional pain, and increased anxiety. It pushed me further into depression. I feel like since she is a child therapist she isn’t an appropriate option for Adults. But I would say do your research and take genuine feedback from people before taking even your kids to her because such people could worsen their mental state. Don’t rely on these paid reviews

I am moving abroad and closing my practice here and for the last one month have been shifting my clients to Dr Semra. Have no doubt and no fears seeing the ethical practices at PsychCare. I am confident my clients are in safe hands. Wishing them health and Dr Semra more success and prosperity one of the best names in psychology in Islamabad
