●Disappointing Portion Sizes and Serving Temperature● I recently visited Portobello and ordered their fish and chips. While the presentation was decent, the portion size was extremely disappointing. For reference, the average calorie intake recommended for lunch for a person living in Faisalabad, Punjab (with a standard diet of 2,000-2,200 calories per day) is approximately 600-700 calories. However, the fish and chips served here provided an estimated 350-400 calories at most, which falls significantly short of meeting the caloric needs for a balanced meal. The dish consisted of one small portion of fried fish steak and a handful of fries, accompanied by two small dips. While the flavours were fine, the meal was far from satisfying for one person. For an average individual expecting a filling and hearty lunch, this portion size was inadequate. Additionally, serving the fish steak on a plate with no cover meant that it got cold very quickly, especially on a chilly December day. This greatly impacted the dining experience, as lukewarm or cold fried food loses its crispiness and appeal. For the price charged, I would expect the restaurant to either increase the portion size to better align with the dietary requirements of an average adult or offer side items to make the meal more substantial. A properly heated serving system would also go a long way in maintaining the food's temperature and ensuring a better overall experience. In summary, while the taste was acceptable, the insufficient portion size and lack of attention to serving details left me disappointed. I hope the restaurant considers these points to improve its offerings.

The food is excellent. It's a pretty decent place, nothing extra about the ambiance.

Good food but there were flaws however their mint margaritas are 10 on 10. Literally the best margarita ive ever had. I don’t remember the names of what i ate so well but it was stuffed chicken , rattlesnake pasta (?), ceasar salad. That stuffed chicken was a total 10/10 for me the pasta had way too much sauce it was like i was eating soup however it tasted good it was 6/10 for me but baat kharab hoti h ceasar salad pe akay - zahir h if am paying i will obviously expect better quality of a meal but ceasar salad’s quality was a bunch of vegetables cut up and thrown in a plate - did the chef get lazy? Anyways, mashallah se salad ke liye utensils hi nai diye - hath se plate mei daalo wala hisaab. The salad was bland and hard to eat- the literal lettuce was taken out of the ground and shoved on my plate i think, like do better guys. Baki safai ka dhiyan rakhein apky glass mein baal bhi thy orr vh mery ni thi 🙏🏻 Baki baat rahi ambience ki, it wasn’t that out of the world type ambience bad it was 6/10 (the ambience was kinda cute) The staff was not that cooperative they were just there, thats all

I recently visited Portobello Restaurant and tried both the chicken steak and beef steak — and honestly, both were spot on! The meat was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The chicken had a nice grilled char, while the beef was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. I paired it with a fresh lemon soda, which was super refreshing and balanced the richness of the steaks really well. Great food, good vibes — definitely worth a visit!
