NKH Animal shelter

I really want to acknowledge the efforts of NHK in rescuing the animals. Two months ago, i reported a dog to NHK who was critically injured. Mam Nadia sent a guy all the way from DHA phase 1 to Behria town lahore. They rescued him and got his treatment. Although they have a dog shelter only but they helped me rescuing a kitten also, who had FIP. I couldn’t afford its treatment so I contacted them. I just want to request everyone that please donate even with a very small amount, like 500, 1000. Because what i have felt that a single person can’t do such a demanding activity, in terms of physically and financially both. I keep on donating them too whenever i could JAZAK ALLAH and lots of prayers for NHK

I have cat on my street and very ill. I called least ten times their cell number but line is busy. If that line is for emergency then reply. Filly they picked up after I told them the reason of calling they hang up the phone. This is so inhuman of them. Rudest people I came across. It's just about collecting grants and charity from people. Very unprofessional. If that cat dies it's on them.

I came across an injured dog in severe pain and immediately contacted this shelter for help. To my shock, they refused to rescue the dog, stating that they don’t operate after 6 PM. In situations like this, there shouldn’t be a time limit for rescue—an animal in distress needs urgent care, regardless of the hour. What was even more disappointing was their rude response. They told me to rescue the dog myself, despite me explaining that I didn’t have the resources, which is why I reached out to them in the first place. It feels like this organization is more focused on maintaining a positive image on social media rather than actually helping animals in need. Their lack of compassion and unwillingness to help makes me question their true commitment to animal welfare.

NKH is one of the best shelters available in Lahore. The owner herself takes the pain of rescuing and helping animals, she responds quickly to every complaint and takes action. Kindly donate as much as possible.
