Minnetonka Glass & Mirror

We were referred to Minnetonka Glass and & Mirror from a colleague. They did an incredible job on both our glass shower and large mirror in the workout room. This was for a basement finish. We had several different contractors throughout the process and we were most impressed with this company. From the consult, installer and staff on site it was top notch and easy. It all turned out amazing!

I had never been to this business before, and brought in a storm window and old double hung window for estimate on replacing single pane non- tempered glass. They were very nice and emailed me an estimate very timely. The estimate for each window was over $360 ($720 total!). I picked the windows up and brought them to the hardware store just down the road and the total for the two windows was less than $100. I don’t like to bash on businesses, but just letting people know don’t waste your time getting an estimate for glass replacement here because it clearly is not their specialty and they are not even close to competitive in pricing. But they are nice!

I went to Minnetonka Glass and Mirror in late October 2017 to have glass replaced in two fireplaces. I was severely disappointed. I brought the frames there and they got them done in a week. However, I was told that one fireplace had scratches in the glass. When I went to pick them up a week later, they also said that the other fireplace glass had the red adhesive showing past the frame and they would redo it. So they had to redo BOTH fireplaces. I was fine with that and installed the finished products. However, over the winter, I had to remove the frames to clean film off the glass with fireplace glass cleaner. I noticed the adhesive was already cracking. Also, the cracks in the adhesive allowed something to melt onto the glass that I cannot remove. This spring, I contacted them about redoing both fireplaces for free or at a discount. They said NO since so much time had passed. Not even a one-year warranty? I am not going to bring the fireplace glass in during the winter and let cold air into my house while they take a week or two to fix it! I own a small business and redoing these at cost or at a discount would not hurt them financially and even make them more money. With such incompetence and poor customer service and product quality, I would look elsewhere!

Minnetonka Glass and Mirror did an amazing job with my kids' bathroom shower doors. Andy, the owner, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding us through the entire process. The installation team was professional and thorough, and the final product looks stunning. We're thrilled with the quality and service. Highly recommend!

I received a few bids for our master bath shower and Minnetonka was not only best price, but listened to exactly what i wanted, didn’t try to upsell, and had a quick timeline. the install was perfect and we couldn’t be happier.
