MAXTECH AUDIO

First of all let me say that I own an AV Production Co. (Media Stage) and know a little bit about pro audio for live events, not so home installations. So, I'm picky and knew what I wanted. Max is the best at his trade. Beginning with the pre-planning, he was very responsive to my requirements and directed me on how to prep my system at my just completed custom home. He spent about 7+ hours, connecting, programming my 18 JBL speaker indoor/outdoor 9 zone system. All Sonos digital PLUS my analog inputs of CD Player and Turntable. When I played my first vinyl record it was pure ecstasy to my ears. Don't even call anyone else. Consult Max, follow his recommendations and you'll have a system designed for you without any run around or waste of your time. Plus, he's a great guy who happens to know what he's talking about. Thank you Max! PS May add a couple of subs. LOL!

Max did a great job with the tweaking of my system. I didn't know how good it could sound, and he brought out its excellence. He is very obviously a master of his trade, and prices his work very reasonably. Before leaving our home he made sure that all worked well and that I understood what he did. Highly recommended!

One star. Zero if possible. I contacted Max of Max Audio and Video Installers for a simple 32-inch TV mount on an interior bedroom wall with concrete block and drywall. I clearly explained what I wanted: a wall-mounted TV with recessed power and HDMI ports behind it, using black outlets and a black double-duplex wall plate. I also asked basic questions, like whether he provides the mounting hardware and what type of anchors he uses for concrete. He initially said this was no problem. However, when I specified I wanted black outlets, he became unhappy. He insisted on providing white and did not want to accommodate my request, even though black is readily available. At that point, he abruptly refused to do the job. This interaction left me with the clear impression that customers who know what they want and make simple, reasonable requests are not welcome. I would not want Max of Max Audio and Video Installers working in my home and cannot recommend this company.
