I had my transmission done on my Dodge diesel. Full rebuild since it made sense due to high mileage. Came in less expensive to rebuild in-house then to go with a vendor built transmission. Totally solid upgraded transmission for towing. The job was completed in one week. I was surprised to have the truck back so quickly

I bought a 2019 van and my husband was adamant that I needed to get the transmission flushed Even though I didn’t think it needed to happen.Lloyds automotive is one of the few automotive repair shops that has humans answer the phone. The office staff was exceptional. They put up with me and my babys shenanigans For almost 4 hours. Nobody complained about my kids snacks. They got all over the floor. The mechanic did a thorough check of my vehicle. They flushed my transmission. Even showed me that my husband was right it definitely needed to be flushed. It was an excellent experience and they get five stars. It was refreshing to go in and see a all American family run automotive service. I will definitely be returning when need be. Did I say that they got me in super quick? That was Also impressive! Thanks guys keep up the good work.

I had this at 4 stars initially. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, and they had my car back the same day. Now I know why........ When I made the appointment with Lloyd's I let them know that my car has never had a tune up and it's been running a bit rough, as well as the fuel economy decreasing over the last year. I told them that I think it might need that, and was told that they would check it out. Later in the day they told me that "it's running fine, and there's no need for a tune up", but offered to do a fuel system clean for me. I just got back from having my oil changed, and as part of that they did an inspection on all of the systems, and let me know that they are recommending a tune up to be done. They showed photographs of the spark plugs, and gave an explanation as to why they are recommending this. When I told them about my experience last week with Lloyd's, they said that it "might" be possible that the fuel flush deposited all of that crud on the spark plugs, which facilitated the need to have one done now. So...... either 1-- Lloyd's *didn't* actually do the inspection that they charged me $250+ for, or 2-- they did a service that *shouldn't* have been done without a tune up at the same time and should have known better about it. Either way, they pretty much screwed me over and I'm going to have to live with this until I can manage to save up (HA! in this economy. smh) enough to get the >correct

I chose Lloyd's because Yelp gave them good reviews. When I googled typical costs for clutch repair and/or replacement, Lloyd's price came on the low end, saving me money. I liked their system of sending text updates of the inspection and what needed to be done .now vs. later. I would recommend Lloyd's to friends and I liked that it was a local business.
