I went to get my phone battery replaced. Thatโ€™s all I wanted and was told it would be $79. He said the screen protector would not survive the phone being open. Removing it is one thing, but he changed and charged for the screen protector without full transparency and explaining his fees. This ended up being an additional $20 that I did not give consent to. I asked him about the charge port because it seemed a little loose. He said that sometimes the charge ports need to be cleaned or replaced. And that he would ONLY take a look while he had the phone opened. He did not communicate anything about additional fees or doing any additional labor beyond just looking at it while having the phone opened. I did not want or give consent for any additional fees associated with the charge port. He charged me $64 dollars for โ€˜component repairโ€™ without communicating that a repair was even necessary. I have since learned a standard charge port cleaning is typically about $16-17. Itโ€™s also incredibly standard that a business will communicate if there are additional issues they find and offer full transparency about any additional fees they intend to charge giving the customer the option to accept or decline. This was not the case with iPro. He asked for the phone passcode to swap out the battery. After I realized he was incredibly misleading or outright lied about his costs, I called around to find out if it is actual procedure to require handing over my phone passcode. It is standard that the phone is tested after the battery is swapped out, but it is not required that you give them your passcode. Other places will give you the option of unlocking your phone yourself at the beginning and end to test out certain procedures if youโ€™d rather maintain privacy. iPro does not offer this option and I was told I must give my passcode. Expecting to be charged $79 I made the payment only to be very surprised by the $164 total on the receipt. I went home and looked closer at his reviews online only to find out this is already a pattern he does and Iโ€™m disappointed that I didnโ€™t read more reviews before I went to this business. Some of the reviews said they found that he had added himself in their phone contacts without asking or telling them. Which is such a violation of privacy and a boundary violation. I looked in my phone and sure enough he had added himself in to my contacts without asking and did not tell me afterwards. I find this to be so odd. If I donโ€™t know the contact is in there, how would I even use it, right. iProโ€™s response to other customers who had found his contact info added to their phones without transparency and consent was that this behavior is the same as offering someone your business card. Itโ€™s obviously not the same thing. He also says it is so he can make the test call after replacing the battery. But I have no calls made from my phone during the time it was in his possession. There is only one screenshot from the time he started the service. The main purpose for having my passcode is to test the phone yet there is no test call. On top of being charged for things I did not consent to my battery and charge port arenโ€™t working any better than before. iPro claims they have a 90 day warranty but Iโ€™m not interested in ever handing my phone over a second time to someone who is willing to treat customers this way. I just want my money back, at least for the 2 things I did not consent for and will never be returning to this business.

So grateful to have found this place! I dropped my phone in the toilet and wound up with a like new phone. Service was fast and I enjoying taking to the owner while I waited. They also worked well with my phone insurance and I got reimbursed despite my phone insurance company being less easy for me to work with. My wife also got a new battery installed for $90 which seems to be a very good deal compared to other places I checked out. I also learned a lot about keeping my oldish iPhone running smooth. Will only be bring my phones here!

I had a really great experience with iPro Service. I came in to get my iPhone 15 Proโ€™s camera lens fixed that was shattered. I was able to come in immediately and have it fixed within an hour as promised. The easiest and most hassle free experience Iโ€™ve had with a phone repair service and my phone looks and works great. I highly recommend and will definitely return if I ever need to in the future!

Great fast repair work as he could charge you lots of money but he is not very credible when it comes to warrant fix, he will hint you to pay him under the table by lying about he already going thru the warrenty process or tried to get his lack of testing when fixing it last time as his way to skip the procedure to with warrent and he could more money on others urgency to have a have their phone fixed or he will refused to continue to fix it; After I declined to pay extra for an issue that should have been reviewed under the stated warranty, some remarks referencing my cultural background felt inappropriate and unprofessional. More transparency and respect would make the overall experience better.
