Glory Marquee Complex

We recently had wedding functions in this marquee and we were the hosts. Overall experience was good in few things and not good in others. Initially we were impressed by: 1: The outer and inner looks of the Marquee, the decor, the ambience which is quite beautiful and give a magestic look. 2: The tables, the decor, sofas , sitting arrangements, and stage, all are photogenic and beautiful. 3: Bridal room was quite near the women's hall , which was a convenience. 4: Huge parking lot to adjust loads of cars. 5: Food was good. Now we had issues with some things which in my opinion are more important than the beauty, ambience, and parking. 1: Airconditioning is available in the halls but it was not enough. Even though there are so many Acs in the hall, they were set at temperature 16° but it wasnt enough for the huge gathering we had. Only the people sitting in front of the Acs were ok, rest of the hall felt warm. Hosts and some guests had to go in front of the Acs to cool down. The lady responsible for the women section was approached by the hosts multiple times but the issue wasnt really resolved. 2: Food was served late, wrapped up quickly. The noodles were hanging from the bowls, the bowls weren't cleaned properly from sides and there were stains on the sides of bowls, some plates were covered with dust, some had flour or some white powder on them. The cutlery only had 2 spoons , no forks or knives. It was a nightmare for hosts to check and tell almost every server to check the bowls and clean them before serving food in them. The brother in suit ( i guess the manager) when approached by me about the issue of dirty plates responded quickly and made sure my concern is addressed , which i appreciate. 3: The cold drinks were not chilled. The warm hall, hot food and not chilled colddrinks were the awfull combination.Water bottles were missing on all the tables too. 4: big quantity of food was ordered, but when it was packed and handed over after the event was over, some items like halwa, takatak Qeema, Bean salad, cold drinks were missing from packed foods of our event. The food that was given after all the events was quiet less which was surprising for us to see as we know more food was left after the event. In my opinion, the wedding events are already stressful for the bride and groom's family. The families of bride and groom pay so much for the best services in everything so they are less stressful. The above mentioned issues adds to the stress and concern of the hosts and are not good experiences to have in wedding events.

The hall is good. The food was also good. I didn't like there method of service they were really slow in service and also they took the food away very early in order to finish the event. The cutlery 🍴 was given in plastic wrap but almost all were dirty. The cutlery picture is attached also.

Mineral Water Quality: 0/5 Overall Rating: Considering the overall experience, the event deserves a 2/5 rating. The substandard mineral water and poor service significantly impacted the experience. The health and safety of guests should always be a top priority. Addressing this critical concern is essential for future events. This lack of attention to guest comfort was disappointing, especially since the heaters were already in place but were not utilized 1. Ambiance and Hall Setup: 4/5 The hall was beautifully lit, and the overall ambiance was pleasing. 2. Food Taste: 4/5 The food was flavorful and well-prepared, as the hosts personally arranged the cooking. 3. Parking and Other Facilities: 3/5 The parking area was well-managed, adding convenience for guests. 4. Service Quality: 0/5 The service was below par. The staff was unprofessional and delayed food service, which left guests dissatisfied. 5. Mineral Water Quality: 0/5 (Critical Issue) The mineral water provided was a serious health concern. It was a poorly made copy of the Nestlé brand and appeared third-class in quality. Serving such substandard water at an event of this scale is unacceptable and can pose significant health risks to the guests. This was the most disappointing aspect of the event, overshadowing the otherwise positive elements.

Nice, spacious, newly built wedding hall. Enough parking, no high rise buildings all around. Looks good.

Second visit.. 25.10.25 food very spicy & salty slightly disappointed Newly built marquee. Big huge parking with Mosque. Only negative thing is their food, its presentation, quality & management. 11 people on one table with small bowls of salt dish. No spoons were available for salt dish & tea etc. Salads were smelly & having bad taste. Really disappointed Hopefull they will evolve with experience
