I purchased a SNARKX tuner from these guys only a couple months ago. It already stopped working. So after some trouble shooting, trying a new battery, I checked the instructions. Come to find out the tuner that was in the package was different than the one on the box and the instructions. I was too focused on getting my guitar tuned, I didn't notice till it stopped working. Which by the way, it's a tuner, not super complicated. After only a short period of time, I was surprised it wasn't turning on. So naturally, I called the shop to let them know what was up. Which then led me to have one of the poorest conversations I've had with an employee to date. Very unhelpful, entitled, and bratty. It was like talking to my 19 year old sister. I quote him saying "well what do you want me to do about it?" Not sure mate, maybe make it right? Exchange it? After a few minutes, he finally offered to "take a look at it," but at that point I was fed up with this pr***, so I went to Beacock instead. Not only did they help me with some other things, they even helped me with the tuner, that they didn't sell. Buy & Sell could learn a thing from them.

This is a peculiar store, with a peculiar attitude. Their business model seems to be to sell middle- and bottom-shelf instruments at prices that will leave the informed buyer scratching their head. They also aren't exactly the friendliest folks in the world by any stretch. The words "snooty" and "robotic" come to mind. It makes for a genuinely odd experience.

Leo really helped me price shop and pick out the perfect guitar that fit my needs that he adamantly listened to. Amazing Customer Service 💯 Kyle with the cool style brings the energy and aesthetic of the shop to the peak of true awesomeness. His knowledge and laid back demeanor really make you feel welcomed and heard. 💯 Jessie the mysterious man keeps his chill and his presence is much like that of gargoyle, both stoic and interesting. 💯 The overall environment and vibe of the store is that of comfort tradition And creativity. Everything was fine tuned and I mean that literally. The music playing puts the mind at ease, the overall organization of the shop was perfectly fluid and easy to navigate. The prices were fair and affordable. Thank you all for taking the time and helping with my selections and this is Eugene’s premier and best shop for anything artistic and musical in my opinion. The very last word in value and selection at its finest. Thank you all 🖤🙏

Quite honestly, this place is everything anyone could hope for in a local music shop. I came in looking for a replacement head to refurbish a banjo that a friend had kindly gifted me. Kyle [serendipitous name coincidence] was expertly knowledgeable, discussed some options with me, and helped me settle on exactly what I needed. They also have a gorgeous inventory of banjos that I thoroughly enjoyed gawking at.
