Apples & Oranges Computer and Phone Repair - Ann Arbor

tl;dr - They're professionals. Before going to Apples and Oranges, I took a Macbook to get a battery replaced by someone else. The tech put in the new battery, but broke the space bar and screwed up trying to fix it before admitting he couldn't. So I took it to A&O. They quickly assessed the issue and had it fixed the same day. They communicated clearly, demonstrated expertise, and had an efficient system. I would gladly use them again for any other issue.

Broke my 1-year-old computer and charged me $75 for it. Very simple screen flicker issue caused by a pinched wire (very common with this Lenovo model), but I decided to let the "experts" fix it (the computer worked when I brought it in aside from minor screen issues). It is very clear that they wouldn't listen to my diagnosis, misdiagnosed the issue, and after a long period of silence, reported to me through their online ticket system a whole bunch of technical reasons for a much more expensive repair. I can only assume that somehow important parts of the machine were shorted during unnecessary testing. There were bits rattling all about in the (broken) machine when I picked it up.

Excellent service. Seth was very approachable and helpful. He fixed my phone's issue within a couple hours as well as a screen replacement, free of charge (it was falling apart and was necessary, but I appreciated him throwing it in as part of the service). One of if not the lowest price I could find for iPhone battery replacement in Ann Arbor. All around great experience.
