Action Automotive

I am new to Eugene and had to find a new mechanic. I was so pleasantly surprised to find that Action Auto had so many great reviews, which of course lead me to them. The staff is very courteous, professional and did a great job on my car at a very fair price. Not only that, but they actually followed and contacted me up a few days later to make sure everything was good. I am definitely will be going back to them with any future needs.

An honest shop! I had my tires rotated at a shop that was out of town and they told me I needed to brakes asap. I decided to wait until I got back to Eugene. I went to Action Automotive and they told me my brakes still had plenty of life left on them. I had an oil change and transmission fluid change and it was a great experience.

Pretty sure this place scammed me. Brought my truck in over the summer due to an engine misfire and they found a faulty fuel injector, so I paid for the replacement and labor. The misfire stopped happening but the engine still wasn’t running right. It had a rough idle and hesitant startup. I was busy traveling and didn’t have a chance to get it addressed until recently. I trusted my gut and took it to a different shop this time. They found damage to seals and gaskets that was allowing air to leak into the engine, and told me that there were no new fuel injectors - only the originals. Action Automotive took my hard earned money and turned it into more problems. Opened up the engine and didn’t replace the seals that would usually be replaced during that job. Charged me for a new fuel injector that was apparently not even installed. I didn’t have a good feeling about their shop when I was there, the new shop I went to was so much better. It’s a lesson for me I guess. Action Automotive might have lower prices, but can cost you more in the long run, beware.

Action Automotive and Johnny have been so wonderful to us. They are competent, professional, thorough and always friendly and helpful. Johnny was a great advocate for us with our car warranty company. He was steadfast. I cannot recommend Action Auto more highly! We will be return customers again and again.

The Action Team was very helpful with helping me analyze the rough idle and rear brakes on my car. They got me in qickly and provided Uber rides back & forth to the shop. They gave me a competitive quote for the repairs. I recommend Action Automative for your "Go To" auto repairs.
