When a customer opens your profile, they are looking for one thing: do you offer what they need? A clear service list answers that in seconds, while a vague one sends them back to the search results.
AT A GLANCE
Clear names
Use the words customers search.
Logical order
Most requested first.
No surprises
Be clear about what is included.
Name services the way customers do
Use simple, recognisable names. "Screen replacement" is clearer than "display solutions", and "drain unblocking" is clearer than "plumbing maintenance". If customers use several names for the same thing, choose the most common one.
Put the most requested services first
Lead with the services that bring in most of your customers. A shorter list of well-named services is more useful than a long list of everything you have ever done.
Group related services
If you offer many services, group them so customers can scan quickly. A repair shop might separate phone, tablet and laptop services. A salon might separate cuts, colour and treatments.
Be clear about what is included
Customers dislike surprises. Where it helps, explain what a service covers, how long it usually takes and whether an inspection or quote comes first.
Connect services to booking
If customers can book a service online, make that obvious. Services that link straight to an appointment turn interest into a confirmed booking.
