Transfinder

I have been using the Wayfinder app as a school bus driver for several months. I do not find it intuitive and from what I hear from staff that works with representatives from trans finder. The technical liaisons do not have a very good understanding of what is needed as well. The primary issues are being able to use the services in a timely manner, ability to correct mistakes without additional staff. Students ID’s at times will not scan and the software itself needs to be revised to allow for inevitable errors.

Weekend before school starts and their site is down for 200k students in HISD. Unacceptable - if your considering a school district solution - do not use this service. No routes on their infofinderi platform - thousands have to call in to find a route and hope its correct.

Very cumbersome and complicated software. Uploads often failed to reach their server. Treated rudely by TF staff. This did not work for our school system amd was eventually abandoned. Ended up getting GPS for all buses. Works just as well and was less expensive.
