I recently visited Tandoori Restaurant, New City Wah Cantt. The staff greeted us nicely at the entrance, which gave a good first impression. But after that, the experience was honestly disappointing. We ordered a beef steak and grilled fish. After almost 18 minutes, the waiter came back and said they were out of beef and could only serve chicken steak. I said I only wanted beef and could change the order if needed. He asked me to wait, and after 5 minutes came back saying they do have beef. After that, we waited almost an hour for our food. I have no idea why it took that long for just a steak and grilled fish when everything was supposedly available. When the food finally arrived, it was such a letdown — overcooked steak, tasteless fish, and cold mashed potatoes (felt like straight out of the fridge). The steak was supposed to come with vegetables, but the sizzler only had olives and mushrooms floating in oil 🤔 Really disappointed with both the taste and service. They seriously need to work on food quality and time management.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience! The ambiance was cozy and intimate, with dim lighting and comfortable seating. The indoor and outdoor seating is so good...you can choose according to your mood.. The food was delicious, and we ordered a variety of dishes ... everything was so tasty...so I m really satisfied with the taste...The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place if anyone looking for great dining experience. Can't wait to go back and try more of their menu items!

We recently visited Tandoori Restaurant – Wah Cantt branch for dinner, and overall, it was a mixed experience. First off, the ambience and atmosphere were lovely. The restaurant is well-lit, with plenty of sitting space, giving it a lively yet comfortable vibe. However, it was overcrowded, even by Friday night standards, which made the place feel a little too packed. Coming to the food, we ordered Creamy Handi and Chicken Karahi, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. In fact, I’d rate them among the best in the city when it comes to taste. Combined with the ambience and seating, this makes Tandoori one of the top spots for quality dining in Wah Cantt. But here’s where things get disappointing: pricing and add-ons. The restaurant is known for overcharging, and it really shows. Basic items like water and soft drinks are priced almost double the standard market rates, yet they’re not served chilled enough to justify the price. On top of that, they charge heavily for Raita and Salad, both of which feel like an afterthought. The Raita was so thin it felt like water with a splash of milk, and the Salad – made of the most basic local vegetables – was slapped with an unreasonable Rs. 500 price tag. In short, while the main courses are excellent and the ambience is top-notch, the overcharging on basics leaves a bad aftertaste. Tandoori Wah Cantt can be a fantastic dining spot if you stick to the mains, but be prepared to pay extra (and unnecessarily) for even the simplest side items.
