I would absolutely recommend StarTec Security for any and all home security needs. Phil provided a comprehensive plan to update our home security system and pointed out several gaps in our old security system during his walk through. The installation was quick, clean and professional. Overall an excellent customer experience and certainly restored my confidence in our home security system.

Great security co, very helpful. Showed up when they said, kept us up to date and explained the system well at the end. Didn't try and oversell us. Gave us just what we needed for our commercial property.

On 12/30/25 Kevin and Aaron from StarTec Security came out to inspect and test our church's fire alarm system. Aaron was headed to the roof to look for an in-duct smoke detector and I requested he not use an impact driver to put the panel sheet metal screws back in because they could be too easily stripped by an impact driver. Aaron did not hesitate and simply complied with that request. Kevin followed that lead. On our prior inspection the last in-duct smoke detector was marked as inaccessible, probably because it could not be found. Kevin was having none of that. Kevin doggedly pursued that last in-duct smoke detector until he found it. I noticed Kevin's testing was done the best way he knew how to test. Some smoke detector testing can apparently be done using magnets. Kevin did his testing using smoke - his logic is the detector was designed to sense smoke so it made more sense to test with smoke. It was clear Kevin took his job and the safety of others seriously. It was a pleasure having a couple knowledgeable professionals performing this work.

Outstanding experience from beginning to end. Greg did a really good job of evaluating our security needs prior to making recommendations. Install team was flawless and we appreciated the onsite training provided. Definitely recommend StarTec for anyone considering in home security.
