I called multiple companies to get a deep cleaning split unit air conditioning estimate for several of my ac units in Honolulu, Hawaii. Several other top rated companies sounded over the phone worst than used car salesman just to get some dirty units cleaned with complicated tier pricing depending on cleaning severity and or cleaning packages. Auwe! Luckily, when I finally called Standard Air, LLC owner Palani Chang answered the phone and offered me very competitive and straightforward pricing right from the start, no nonsense. In the end, he gave me a good guy deal that I couldn't refuse to clean 3 units that never been cleaned in years! Mr. Chang uses only the best and most professional cleaning equipment available in the industry. If it's safe for him to use than it's safe for us. Yes, I was extremely concerned on the toxicity levels of cleaning solutions that air conditioning companies use because of the harmful effects of residuals in synthetic cleaners in which Palani DOES NOT USE. Instead, he uses the only all natural botanical cleaner that's 100% effective on all MOLD, BACTERIA, & VIRUSES and 100% SAFE to use for both the applicator and the consumer. I did research and found out that this special cleaner is also expensive, hospital grade, all natural and the only type of 100% plant derived botanical cleaner on the market that's even MORE EFFECTIVE than the harmful synthetic one that your average ac cleaning guy is using. Both Palani and I are super health conscious since we are both battling our own health issues so Safety & Efficacy is our #1 top priority! I was grateful that Mr. Palani spent a lot of extra time educating me on air conditioning maintenance to save me money and my health in the long run. Mr. Chang is incredibly intelligent on health and safety and his experience shinned as he did an outstanding job thoroughly cleaning all of my filthy ac units. I watched him perform all the work from start to finish and inspected every component. He does not cut any corners. He will use extra solution, time and elbow grease to get the job done spotlessly to restore your units in a like-new condition. Company staff worked with us to determine a repair was not possible and size the split AC unit for the space. Provided brand options to consider. Made a valuable suggestion to weather-proof the outside unit. Installation was efficient and old AC was taken away. They made the process easy; great job.

Easy to schedule but more importantly very informative and thorough team who came out. Very respectful of space, but didn't just come "do a job." They explained, they showed what they were doing, they encouraged me to see inside the components and more, even texting me photos to save. And they were upfront on our units and equipment and did not sugarcoat or try to upsell, but offered excellent service in a friendly and efficient manner. Easy to schedule and super easy to pay!

The technician was very polite and familiar with the AC system of our condo. And he quickly diagnosed the issue. We cannot wait for him to come back to replace the parts that caused the problems.
