I reached out to RST about hard drive failure and data recovery services. My desktop's M2 internal SSD failed suddenly, just shy of 2 years post-purchase with a 5 year warranty. While all of my critically important data is backed up to Dropbox, I foolishly hadn't done regular backups for any locally stored files, game saves, program settings, etc. When I called, Rebecca answered immediately. She was lovely to speak with, informative, and incredibly helpful. She told me to bring in my computer so they could take a look. Once I arrived, Ron took me right in and immediately started investigating the situation. He operated quickly and swiftly. Although the drive ended up being completely unrecoverable because it wouldn't read at all, he gave me very robust recommendations for next steps. I was thinking about getting a 2nd drive anyway - he told me which ones to consider, what specs to look for, and which brand names tend to be reliable. He also gave me feedback on my other existing components too, which was good to know. Moral of the story: regular backups are important, so be sure to do them! But if you ever find yourself in a bind, I think you'll be in good hands with RST. :)
