Michael with Rock Solid Plumbing is an absolute gem. He came all the way from Chugiak to Anchorage for an after hours call so quickly when we were dealing with a pipe issue, and his response time alone was impressive. Not only did he fix the problem efficiently and confidently, but he also took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on. He pointed out potential concerns with our boiler and main water shut-off that could cause issues down the road and offered practical, preventative solutions. That kind of knowledge and honesty is rare. You can tell he truly knows his craft and genuinely cares about helping homeowners avoid future headaches. Woke up to no water in the house and quickly determined there was a leak in the water main between the city line and my home. I called Rock Solid Heating and Plumbing, and John responded right away. He came out, assessed the issue, and confirmed that the City of Anchorage needed to shut off the water. Rather than delaying service, John explained he had just received an urgent call from an elderly couple in the Valley and asked if he could send another technician to me instead. I appreciated the honesty and agreed. While waiting for the city and the second technician, I received a call from Michel, who clearly explained the situation and let me know he was on his way. He arrived shortly after and got straight to work. Once the water was shut off, Michel completed the repair in under 30 minutes. Both technicians were professional, friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend Rock Solid Heating and Plumbing for any emergency or general heating and plumbing needs. They’ve absolutely earned my business going forward.

Fairly fast response time as the issue was not critical. On time arrival of Mike the Tech. A very personable and knowledgeable man. A pleasure to work with him as he explained everything very well with hand drawn diagrams. My new plumber!!! Yaay!!! We have an older house so there will need to be upgrades and repairs in the future and for sure Rocksolid is in my phone as my contact for any plumbing needs in the future. Thank you Rocksolid! Kudos to Paige in the office too for her behind the scenes support and scheduling!!!

Rock Solid is AMAZEBALLS! Dave and Matt are absolute ROCK STARS. They installed our new boiler, on-demand hot water heater, and whole house water filtration in 2 days-- and it's PERFECT! Their attention to quality and detail is above and beyond anything we've experienced from any other boiler/ plumbing company. We are extremely pleased and would once again like to extend sincere thanks to Dave and Matt.

Overall pleased with Rock Solid. We were without hot water and they came out the next day and were able to install a new hot water heater the same day. Technicians were very friendly. Two complaints though: 1. We were charged a separate $200 fee for a repair tech to tell us our hot water heater needed replacement. He spent about 10 min at the house and told us that repair and install are separate technicians so he would have to charge us $200 for a call out fee. Replacement was an additional $2700 to be charged to the install crew. I figured the repair tech call out fee would be applied to our new $2700 hot water heater replacement cost but it wasn’t. $200 seemed steep for 10 min of looking at my broken hot water heater. 2. They charge an additional 3% if you use a credit card. Be aware if you plan on using a credit card to pay an additional 3%. Otherwise, I was pleased with the timeliness and friendliness of the technicians and the work performed. Got us hot water again quick and felt the replacement cost (minus the “repair tech call out fee” and the additional credit card fee) of the new hot water heater was fair.
