Pete's Cobbler's Bench Shoe Repair

I was told this company was the best. Unfortunately I can’t say the same. They ruined about 4 pairs of my shoes. The paint colors do not match. It looks like they used mail polish and painted my shoes. I am so not happy about this. My boots were dark brown and they painted darker brown over certain spots. I wouldn’t recommend this shoe repair to anyone. Other pairs they placed the wrong heel in them in which I had to take to another repair place and gave them fixed. You can clearly see in the photos the colors DO NOT MACTH. not to mention my shoes were VERY EXPENSIVE. You can clearly see the paint strokes Also.

My wife has a vintage Coach purse that is her most trusted heirloom. After 20 years of daily use, it was almost falling apart at the seams. We procrastinated getting it refurbished for years because we were nervous of someone potentially messing it up further. After some research, we finally stopped by Pete's to have them look at it and it was immediately clear how much they actually cared about the sentimental value. The person up front talked us through all of the potential options/prices, and we decided to have them redo most of the purse. It was ready sooner than we expected, and it honestly looks/feels brand new now. We were confident when we left it with them but they still exceeded our expectations!

Took my Louboutins in to have the sole guard put on and have the toe boxes stretched slightly and George and his team DELIVERED, oh my gosh. Toe box - he told me that the patent may not stretch well so it might not be possible, but they got it done, and it took my Louboutins from challenging to genuinely comfortable and livable (I've been wearing them even working from home now because they feel that good). Sole guard - I'm not sure what the material is that they use but it looks and feels just like the sole. I was worried that protecting them would give it that janky iPhone in a bulky case look but it looks perfect to me. For context, I run a boutique pet care and home concierge business so I'm VERY picky about my referrals, but I would absolutely send clients here to have their luxury items serviced. Thanks guys!!
