We had a potential defective alternator. We brought it on to perfection and they proved it not to be. They got is in the same day as we were leaving the next day for AZ. They are honest and fair. There was no charge. I recommend them 1st on the island.

Very disappointed with Perfection Automotive. Perfection is a understatement. I first took my car in for a regular service and I read the reviews and was recommended to this place. Service was fine and then about a week later I took a sharp turn and that caused my check engine light to come on so I took it back for a second, third and then a FOURTH time. After the fourth time and $3,000 later I went and got a second opinion as Jim told me to. Come to find out my intake tube was cracked and they put electrical tape and aluminum foil around it to fix it. Also put aluminum foil over my intake tube. Bolts were also missing from under my hood. Then after the second opinion looked at the invoices from perfection auto I was informed one of the engine coils I paid for was not even done. Maybe he did change the coils but with old parts because the parts on my car are the original parts from the factory. I have called multiple times and Jim was very rude and refused to negotiate or refund me partial money.

I’ve been coming here over 10 years now. Better prices than the dealer and very honest work. Won’t take my Lexus anywhere else

Jim worked us in on a last minute request on a busy Xmas week to do car repairs on our Lexus RX 350(front/rear brakes and rotors, battery, and water pump). All of this work was quoted at twice the cost by the local Lexus dealership that we were ultimately charged by Perfection Auto . He’s always been fair, clear, and timely in doing great work on our car. Best mechanic shop by far that I’ve ever worked with in 60 yrs!

Perfection Automotive changed the rear back pads on my M/B GLS 450. There was an issue getting the reset to work after completing the job. This was no fault of theirs but they would not accept any payment for the pads, labor, etc. I can’t recommend this business high enough. They went far beyond what any other company, especially M/B, would have done. I highly recommend this business operated with ultimate professionalism. The wife, co-owner is also amazing. Great conversationalist. Thanks Again!
