PC Gamerz Hawaii - Schofield

I've helped a friend purchase a PC through PC Gamerz Hawaii before, and customer service has always been a pleasant GRADE A. In that spirit of optimism, I want to personally thank the employees at the Navy Exchange location by Pearl Harbor for ensuring I could get this taken care of quickly by referring me to their Schofield location. So, this time I needed an estimated repair on my laptop which had its hinges completed ripped off by the airport TSA. To their credit (matters down below), I gave it to PC Gamerz without any case screws installed. Since it was tricky to put back together, I showed the front desk employee I dropped it off with how to close it and told him to make sure the assigned technician knew to which he agreed. My laptop was returned swiftly with good paperwork, but the eDP cable that is responsible for the laptop's entire display panel power and signal was dislocated and pinched in the lower bezel of the display instead of where it lives routed through the hinge assembly; I did not drop it off in that state and that can only happen if it was yanked because there is normally no gap available for it to move. It also was not closed correctly despite me demonstrating how to properly close it in its damaged state when I dropped it off. I was surprised at the mishandling given every customer device should be treated with proper care. Hopefully this was just a one-time lack of communication between employees and an oversight by a junior technician. I would humbly request the shop trains their technicians to have more attention to detail in the future because that could have severely damaged or ruined it. In the end, my laptop case was deemed non-repairable (as expected due to the flawed MSI hinge design) so I will be performing my own repair by drilling bolts through the laptop case to hold the hinges together as seen as a solution on Reddit... I wasn't planning to just chuck my $2000 laptop in the trash you guys so please take care of people's things better next time. I believe in leaving honest reviews and this was my unique experience. One of their longtime employees who'd mastered everything recently left after many years so maybe they are going through an adjustment period. Either way, don't let this discourage you- if you are looking for a repair these guys are usually pretty good.

I had my cable management done at PC Gamerz, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. They did an amazing job — everything looks clean, organized, and professionally done. Keale was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the whole process, and made sure I understood what was being done. You can really tell they care about their customers and their work. Highly recommend!

I want to give a big shoutout to Keale who helped my boyfriend James last week Wednesday (10/22) with PC gamers. He was super knowledgeable and really knew what he was talking about when it came to PCs. He took the time to explain everything clearly and helped him find exactly what he needed. It’s not often you meet someone who’s both friendly and genuinely knows their stuff — Keale made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Definitely one of the best customer service experiences he had in a while!

The associate Aaron fixed my computer in a timely manner and the associate is very knowledgeable and kept me in the loop with what was wrong with my laptop and made sure I was ok with the repair plan and Then optimized my laptop to run at peak performance and giving it all the necessary updates. Also added a PDF document of what all they did so i can reference it if I need to. Will definitely go back if i have any questions or need PC parts on top of that gave me tips and advice for when I Build my personal PC in the future
