We chose Olson Construction for our remodeling project based on their reputation for integrity, quality work, attention to detail, and doing things right the first time. While the choice of finishes and decor was ours, many creative solutions - from minor to major - came from the Olson team. We appreciated their insights and ideas, their attention to detail, for keeping us in the loop with transparent, open communication, and making sure everything was safe and up to code. John is personable and an excellent communicator. The Olson team and all the subcontractors constantly maintained a clean and well-organized work area. Thanks again for helping us make this happen so beautifully. We are thrilled with our new kitchen addition and bathroom reconfiguration as well as our second story deck overlooking the back yard. As a homeowner who has construction experience, I have been involved in a number of major home building projects over the last 40 years, using many different construction contractors. When we wanted a detached garage built on our property, we carefully researched available contractors and decided to use Olson Construction Inc. for that project. The experience working with them was excellent! John Olson was beyond amazing in attention to details, providing accurate estimates of availability and costs, answering all our questions and he kept in contact throughout the project. His crew, and especially lead carpenter Cody, demonstrated exceptional work quality, attention to details and always arrived on time. The end result was a beautifully constructed garage that added to the appearance of our property. We had Olson Construction do some additions and a remodel to our existing home and they were excellent to work with from beginning to end. When we started looking around for options and quotes from various companies, Olson was very upfront and knowledgeable with what was realistically possible in our home to make it structurally safe and would fit within our budget. We were looking for a company that would help make our home functional for what we needed, and Kyle and Olson excelled in that area leading us to move forward with them. Throughout the design process, we worked with a couple different people in the company that were always on the same page and were very cognizant of what we were looking for and our budget. Having blueprints and imaging helped us envision what our home would eventually look like. When our project began and though all of the demolition to the finishing touches, John and the company worked tirelessly to make sure that our project was on schedule, most of the time ahead of schedule, and we knew what was happening and what was coming up every step of the way. We constantly had pictures sent to us of the home of updates when we weren’t living there and always know what was being completed with many details. They were extremely accommodating to allow us to live at our house as long as we could comfortably during the project. Not only were they great communicators with us, but also with the subcontractors. Being that we were ahead of schedule for most of the project, Olson made sure that groups of people coming to work on the house knew and tried to have them come earlier to keep the project rolling. After finishing our project, we are in love with the way our home looks and functions now. We were able to stay within budget and couldn’t have been more pleased with the process and Olson Construction as a whole. They took our small house and made it our forever home. The entire Olson Construction team is great. They are very organized and passionate about their work. Being one of the plumbers they work with occasionally I know no corners are ever cut. They are an outstanding crew and I would highly recommend them to anyone who’s looking for renovations.
